I have the same ones, green and black, and love them. They were expensive! It worth it. I love to add fresh fruit and herbs from my yard to the tea too. So many fun things to do with it. Much better than fake fruit flavors.
It's an investment but I definitely find that I cold brew more often since buying them. I'm working on blog post about some different things you can add to iced tea 😊
Really like those cold brew bottles, glad you shared! I just use my glass tea pot and mesh basket to cold re-brew the evening’s leaves from my hot tea. Time to step up my game 😁
Those bottles are awesome! I love to cold brew but I'm not fancy, I usually use a Mason jar 😀 it works just as well but maybe not as pretty as yours!!!!
I'm not the biggest fan of cold tea but it is nice on occasion. I do like cold brewing since it's so easy. I have a Hario bottle and love it but lately I've been doing smaller batches in an old jelly jar.
I cold brew using (very well-cleaned) glass pasta sauce bottles. Usually around 5g of tea for 500ml water, screw on the lid and give a good shake, refrigerate overnight. Pour through a strainer into my glass. Then I usually re-steep with hot water at least once or twice.
I have been cold brewing some puerh with delicious results, but I will definitely try some green tea too, maybe with mint. My container is a lidded glass jug, but those bottles are so pretty--I'm tempted to splurge.
I do a "cheater" cold brew by ambient brewing at room temperature for a couple of hours and then pouring over ice. It's a quick method for iced tea when you've ran out or forgotten to start cold brewing the night before
I have the same jar but have you found a way to easily remove the leaves after emptying the bottle? Tea leaves are not good for the disposal and plumbing so I don’t want to wash too many down the drain.
Not necessarily true that cold brew has less caffeine. Fact is when using boiling or near boiling water you’re technically cooking the caffeine out. Just as cold brew coffee is stronger, cold brew tea can be stronger.
