I hate when people say this. The fact that all of your friends and classmates weren't listening to this made it all that much more special feeling. Going mainstream is rarely good.

Even if they go commercial (which they did with new singer😢), I STILL go back to the early material and say a THANK YOU to the friend who introduced me to this treasure because they weren't selfish...❤🤘🏿
My daughter found these guys on break at Bayfest and asked if theyd take pic with her. She was so proud of that. The whole band was in pic. Displayed at her funeral.

I just discovered Evans Blue today. I can't believe I never heard of this band before! Their songs are amazing! It's one of the best bands I ever heard!
I use to listen them when they first hit. I can't remember, but I believe I saw them live once like 12 to 15 years ago with Breaking Benjamin. Killer band.

Have you ever got so deep in a song to where it brings you back to a memory of your life? My uncle showed me this song. He ended up dying of cancer this year so he is always tied to this song. I have to play it for him once in a while.
I was going through a tumultuously unhealthy relationship, break up and healing with the 1st two albums of this wonderful band. When I come back for a listen I can still feel the raw feelings of love and hatred that coursed through my veins. Only now I smile and know this is what helped me heal and move on. Thank you Evans Blue for the wonderful memories. And possibly continued therapy.
Came to say the same thing. It's amazing how a song can remind you exactly how you felt. And how you can feel that pain, yet still not be overwhelmed by it. To smile and see how much you've healed since then.
I saw these guys live back in '06...(I still love their music) and they're actually even better in person! Their musicianship and character are superb.
A good man who I loved like family absolutely loved this band. It's been probably 10 years since he passed, but I still fweel the need to listen to this music to keep his memory alive. RIP Chris.

I remember when this band was fresh of the mic with this song. I got attached to it and have listened to some of their later tracks like this time its different. Safe to say that this song won me over and I'm a fan since listening to it. I also agree that the band is underrated. Could be one of the very best,
I haven't heard this song in years, so glad I remembered it. I was once addicted to it, and I found myself remembering the lyrics and being able to sing along after so long. This has got to be one of my most favorite rock songs of this century.
His voice and those lyrics!!! No matter how many times I hear it I get chills. The passion pours out if him. He lived it and he feels it. I bet the girl that fucked him up regrets it now...but Im kinda glad she did, otherwise we wouldnt have some great songs. Not just this one but also "The Promise and the Threat", " The Dark that Follows", "Beg" damn I could keep going but I think you get the point.

+Anna Shirley "This band" is not the exact same band than what exists with Evans Blue today. Kevin (The singer) parted ways after The Melody and Energetic Nature of Volume(Their follow up to the CD this song was on) CD in 2009. Him and his fellow band mates are working on their newest CD "The KIll Plan", they have released several other Albums under the name Parabelle. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't heard of them.
This band seems to have it all - skilled guitar work, attractive lead singer, solid drum work, hot girls in their videos, good backup vocals. They're really good.
