I think you keep ignoring my question, knocking on people’s doors, It’s a little bit dangerous. I live in Hialeah, Florida, where as we all know the particular ethnic group are Cubans, and I won’t say all of them, but majority of them are not very polite or kind when you’re knocking on their door to ask for information Or offer any real estate services. I think NAR needs to train us somehow about this situation and many other real estate agents need to emphasize this problem with other agents. I am very kind, I think very polite and definitely very professional, if I encounter a person not in a good mood and I know how to talk, what kind of pitch sound I should even use when talking to a potential person that opens the door, but the second I see a very negative body language or behavior of a certain aggressive behaviors. I just say I apologize and I leave . Say what you will, but unfortunately these comes more often than none from Cubans because this is my area here in Hialeah. You must remember the many of these immigrants they come from different cultural backgrounds, and they’re not used to this kind of things and even if they were, nobody likes to have their doors being knocked period. Farming is not easy either cause you unfortunately have other agents guarding their territory per say. So again if you answer , what’s your profession answer, not your experience, but your profession answer regarding this situation thanks.

Then I would pick a different neighborhood. I have friends and have had team members that door knock Hialeah and they never had any issues or problems. You can't please everyone and you don't know what they're going through when you knock on the door. So if I were you having the concerns you are mentioning, I would pick a different neighborhood to knock on. There's plenty of surrounding -- Doral, Coral Gables, Kendal, Miami Lakes, Miami Gardens there's sooo many other areas ..or you can go further down or further up. If i was trying to get higher priced listing, I would go to higher price points. And if not, then do calls/open houses and figure out other ways to generate leads!

@@LoidaVelasquez ….Thank you so very much for being kind and professional taking a bit of your time to reply, I appreciate you for that. Additionally, as you mentioned, I’ve done that too of going to places that aren’t my neighborhood, but what happens a lot is that when a person that resides in let’s say as the example you used: Coral Gables, Brickell areas, let’s say Biscayne, etc, the residents do ask “how much experience do you have in this area, or which house or apartment you sold at ABC near by place etc…. I just can’t lie and I end up telling them “Sorry Miss/Mr. Seller(s) I live in Hialeah but im farming your area. So, these high end prospect customers are not stupid per se, they automatically think you may not have the skill set or knowledge to tackle such properties. You also sort of mentioned, that these other areas may result in higher quality and means of much better profit for an agent like me and trust me, I do in God’s name want that, cause I do believe I can deliver and help on what some of these particular high in customers need, but the second I’m asked where I live “Hialeah“ they immediately feel discomfort assuming I’m not what they want to represent their neighborhood or property. So yeah, I’ve done that part of the homework. At first, I thought “well goddamnit, maybe I am too ugly or something….Lol cause you know how’s our Latino culture” but I’m well put together, well spoken, professional…. So that has actually hurt me a bit. But for the record, I don’t use these rejections or behaviors from customers for me to give up per say, but those things do happen and are there. So I don’t know, I do feel not going to lie all my hard work 😓 for getting my license and other efforts to make it happen have not work out, so much so, that it makes feel that perhaps as much as I love it, I’m not meant to be a real estate agent. Any advice that you might feel you can relate to or so is appreciated. Thanks again.
