I live in Philly, wanted you to know - the bridge on 30/130, crossing the Cooper River, was replaced in 2014. The bridge that was there for 80+ years before then had stone guardrails that had fallen down or fully crumbled in several places. If you're ever back in the area, please scan under that bridge, as it's entirely possible that no one noticed signs of a vehicle careening off the bridge given all the problems with the old bridge. You're seeing an image of the bridge that was built in 2014 at 6:54 in the prior Imbo & Petrone video, the older one was torn down after 85 years of service. The bridge was a mess by the 2000s, repairs had to be done all the time. Also, they disappeared in mid February - almost every bridge in the area, particularly the older ones, are awful in those temperatures. It was ~26°F when they left the bar, with 10 mph gusts of wind. I nearly skidded into the railing from a patch of black ice on an on-ramp last year, and I was only going 15 mph. If Richard had been drinking (or even if they were both stone cold sober), driving in the dark over an icy old bridge definitely could've been their COD. About convo at 14:00 on your previous Imbo & Petrone video - there's no toll on the Ben Franklin bridge if you're crossing from PA into NJ, only the opposite way. So, while I'm pretty sure there were cameras on the bridge itself (added after 9/11), Richard and Danielle wouldn't have gone through a tollbooth on the Ben Franklin. I don't know what kind of cameras were in use in 2005, but I did just confirm DRPA/PATCO installed new "intelligent" ones in 2008. A camera map was released awhile ago, the only camera I saw on the Ben Franklin (NJ side) was at an on-ramp. I know there was one at an on-ramp on the Philly side, but there are multiple spots to get on the Ben Franklin. Figured I'd mention that as well. If you're back in the area, please scan under the Cooper River bridge - you might've ruled it out too quickly.
My mom loved this channel. I'm here on her account to thank you for giving her something to be excited for. She even bought me one of those window breakers. She died last week but I know how much she loved this community. So.. Thank you❤
SOMETHING SERIOUS - Half of those we've recovered I personally feel they could have escaped their vehicles if they had an emergency window breaker. I cannot unsee the things I've seen, and will not show/share out of respect for the families. For the love of your family and loved ones, please consider purchasing a 2-IN-1 EMERGENCY WINDOW BREAKER SEAT BELT CUTTER today. -Jared adventureswithpurpose.com/products/2-in-1-emergency-window-breaker
Jared, you are not DONE with this search for this year, you have just EXHAUSTED all leads and tips thus far! I know how you operate, and you are never DONE with a search until you find your target!💪🏻
So not worth watching this then? If they’ve got nowhere and are giving up? The story is out there any how. Don’t mind them coming up against a wall as you say, but if they give up …
@@johnmartin7304 Sorry if you were talking about my comment. I just support these guys every way possible and am trying to keep them hopeful. I apologize!
First of all, you're doing great work Jared, Doug and rest of the team. I'm a former LEO from Europe and I've worked with many missing person cases and I've spent quite a time with this one, even visited Philadelphia a few years ago to check some possibilities. Some key points to share: 1. It is not clear whether they got to the NJ side or not. Not having evidence from the cameras doesn't mean that it didn't happen. Multiple police officers have stated that there were ways to cross the river and bypass the cameras. 2. As recently mentioned by Kat but also verified by many other local people the bridge crossing the Cooper River on 30/130 was replaced later and the old one had barely any functioning guard rails in 2005.. . 3. My own theory, possibly because of drinking alcohol and wanting to stay the night together they decided to go to Richard's place in Ardmore and one very possible route would've been along the Schuylkill river if you've been drinking and want to take a smaller road, driving Martin Luther King Jr drive.. I drove it when I visited Philly and saw many possible places where to veer off to the river, bearing in mind that when this happened it was dark icy winter night.. 4. Also mentioned by others but at 13:58 there is something that could be a 17ft car nose down. If that scene wasn't cut from another place that seems to be right in front of the RiverRink park and it's one of the only few places where you could in theory drive into the river without leaving marks, it looks a bit thin though but when casting 105ft hard to tell... 5. Not specifically this case but having watched pretty much all of your videos, saying this with expertise, you're trusting way too much guard rails and license plate readers. It needs certain velocity and angle and especially a bigger truck can literally climb over a guard rail, I've seen many times a car/truck being lifted from a river and there wasn't almost any visible marks on the guard rails. When it comes to license plates I'm talking about the other case but I've seen dozens of times ALPR's picking up similar plates from other countries or even read text from a t-shirt and quite often stolen plates gets inserted to a matching vehicle..
Oh my gosh!!!! I can’t believe you guys are covering this case👏I’m so happy. I have wondered about this for sssooo many years. If you find them there will be an incredible amount of people that will finally have answers. There’s been so much speculation and so many rumors. God Bless You guys and please stay safe on your mission’s.💙💙💙💙💙💙
My teacher and husband were on their way to work one morning it was really slippery out as we had a snow storm nite before with freezing rain they were on a road that was in an industrial area and the car swerved ended up going into the st.lawtence river in Montreal Quebec and couldn't get out because their doors were electric and couldn't roll down windows either, both of them lost their lives very quickly, the water wasn't that deep but they were unable to escape car so these window breakers n seat belt cutters are very important to buy and keep in car give them as gifts to your kids and family members from Kitchener Ontario Canada thank you for all you do AWP!
The teacher and her husband were both 46 yrs.old and when I was young she made a big difference in my life she checked on me personally as I was being raised by a single dad with alcohol problems and was neglected and abused. She did alot for other children and church, these were people who made a huge difference in this world and would've continued to help others throughout their lives.
@@sandramessenger2044 I am so sorry. I’m honestly not sure what happened. I was commenting about the window breaker/seatbelt cutter! Somehow my comment ended up here. I have never had that happen before?! The story about your teacher and her husband is absolutely heartbreaking 💔. I am so sorry you lost someone that you looked up to so much. She sounds like an amazing person. I’m sure that she is always in your heart, wherever you are in life. And Heaven is real, I know she’s proud of you and the woman you have become💗. It’s so hard losing someone we love that much, but we will see them again. In time.
@@melissavickery2219 as I commented below, I am so sorry. I don’t know what happened?! I commented about the window breaker/seat belt cutter. Somehow my comment ended up here. I have never had anything like this happen before. I sincerely apologize if you were offended for any length of time. Those were definitely not my intentions. I took my comment down to avoid any further pain or confusion. Have a blessed day 🙏🏼💙
You are the epitome of the good in this world. I'm praying that with each cold case you come across you find more answers if not solving their disappearances. May you and your crew be blessed and remain safe.
Amen Jennifer Bonsey. Well said indeed WELL SAID. GOD BLESS Jared and crew and the dive teams that are doing the same thing. Except for that one group that charging families $10,000. Shame on them. They are in Florida.
I’m so glad y’all never give up. Next time you’re looking for this couple I hope you check the “long way home”. The route you said no one would take at 1-2am. Many many times I’ve elected to take the long way if we were just enjoying the evening. I also hope y’all do find them. Totally enjoyed this one guys. Great job Carson. Jared I’m loving the running commentary. Hubby appreciates it too. He can watch without having to explain what’s happening. So we both get to enjoy it at the same time. Awesomeness.
Well they don't have to wait a whole year send some fisherman with boats to survey that long trip home if they find a vehicle they can call local police to search it and clear it maybe or Jared can just go ahead and go there!
Pretty sure that I read somewhere that camera footage from all area bridges were reviewed and it was determined that they never crossed into NJ. From South Philly to Mt. Laurel, Burlington County, NJ, there's no long way home, really. The Walt Whitman is probably the furthest bridge from where they were. I suppose it's possible that they decided to take a ride down Rt 42 or they could have taken the Tacony, which have only yielded a short delay. Each scenario is unlikely since they both had children and Danielle's was quite young.
Thanks for all you are doing! Coming from an automotive engineer and former scuba diver, please be aware that aluminum is not magnetic and doing a magnet check may not always work especially on newer vehicles. Aluminum is starting to be widely used for body panels such as on the hood, tail gates, door panels, etc. for reducing weight like on the 2015 and new Ford trucks and if you see the magnet bouncing off a hood of a potential vehicle, it may not be a definite cause for ruling it out.
Great job Robert for reaching out and caring about Richard and Danielle missing even though yiu were going through a rough time in your life. Doug and Jared are always awesome and love the passion and dedication to helping each family.
This case has been covered on a few of those ID Discovery shows, and it has always haunted me. It just seems so strange, and someday I hope the family is given the answers to questions they may never get to ask. ❤️ Everything you guys do has so much value, even when the results don’t solve the mystery you search for - it’s still so important to know where they aren’t.
I knew Danielle, my old job contracted her & she had come in to our office I believe Friday with her son to pick up her check. There is no way she would’ve left him. I just can’t believe they still haven’t found them. It just breaks my heart!
I'm so glad you're trying to find them, I've followed this case for so long and it breaks my heart that they've never been found. On a side note, your first pronunciation of Schuykill is adorable lol
I’ve lived Philly area my whole life and it’s like they disappeared without a trace it’s so sad 😭! My heart ❤️ and prayers going to the parents of both!
Thank you! For taking the time to revisit this case. I'm sadden for any family that has anyone missing. It's always an ongoing nightmare for the family. I hope for this family. Especially, their children. They get the answers/resolution. They have been waiting for. You said, they wouldn't go out of their way. Taking that route. But maybe they were taken that route. One never knows. Great work!❤️🚙👍👍
Surprised, but, quite pleased that there aren't any cars along all that stretch of water. Thanks for being dilligent & trusting Roberts' concerns, you guys. That's why you're the best! 👍❤️
You guys are the BOMB and thank you for bringing awareness to these people who are missed to the greatest extents, all the cases you've worked on tirelessly and solved, all the answers you've brought to family and friends. Thank you for all you do. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with Danielle and Richard's family and friends. 💜
There are no tolls entering NJ from the PA side. It seems way more likely they are in a body of water on the NJ side somewhere between the bridge and her house. You guys are amazing! Best of luck!
Everyone who died or was missing for a few years after they were gone deserve to stay with their families. Rest In Peace to the people who were found underwater 🕊🙏
I agree. There are so many access points and dangerous roadsides there. Although, the more I learn about this case, the more it looks like foul play and we're looking for a dump location. They can't rule out the numerous quarries in the area either.
I saw Danielle & Richard upstairs at Abiliene's that night. This was an orchestrated hit carried out by her estranged husband who has law enforcement ties. At that time of night, it would take only about 5 mins to get to any number of junkyards. I think they were murdered and Richard's vehicle was disposed of, along with their bodies, in a car crusher.
What I’d like to point out with your theory is. What if both Danielle and Richard both had a drink and that drink got spiked and they went to the car and probably if this was a targeted hit. Someone must have waited for them to leave and go to the car, then the culprit entered the car from the rear with a weapon, held them against their will, asked them to drive somewhere, they drive somewhere, the culprit picks the right area, kills them, then dispose the vehicle at a junkyard with them both in the car and crushed by and using the car crusher.
Please check all the water areas on the back roads between where they were and their homes. If I‘ve even had just 1 drink, I’m going to stay off main roads and highways and take back roads so I don’t get pulled over. There’s a bunch of places on the other side of the bridge on the way to one of their housing areas.
I saw a documentary about this case. Very interesting and I think too they're somewhere under water. I'd like to know if you already searched for Rhonda Dougherty in Norris Lake in Tennessee. I saw that documentary today. Great job.
As much as I hope her family gets to lay her to rest properly, I don't think AWP is the right team to aid with recovery. They specialize in vehicles, her body was in a duffel bag weighed down by cinder blocks. The PD said they've spent thousands of man hours at the lake, but standing timber makes diving and sonar nearly impossible...given that's AWP's specialities, I'm not sure how much they could help, unfortunately. I hope her loved ones get answers

AWP Revisiting the first case I ever saw from this channel-and got hooked. I subscribed 5 mins into that first video. Talk about a blast from the past! Hope they are found and they’re families have the answers they need.

I am all the way in Australia and when I found your channel, I was hoping this is a case you would give attention to. I was considering emailing you. Such a sad case with no answers.
Yall are awesome and never give up. Love the way yall go back and listen to others with ideas of where the 2 could be. Yall always want to clear with a high percentage. Well done. Prayers for yalls safety.🙏🙏🙏🙏
I thought about this 5yrs ago when I heard of this case. I’m from this area. I remember hearing about this and then nothing… I for sure thought they were in the Delaware after all searches were fruitless and the vehicle never surfaced. I pray they are found.
After watching many of your videos, along with Jacobs (Chaos), I have to say I absolutely LOVE the fact that if you have a hunch about a certain area you will check it again later on, or as in this video you said next year. I can't tell you how many arguments I have gotten in, trying to tell other team leaders that just because a river has been looked at one year, doesn't mean that after a flood or other significant water movement like a flash flood or something that a find could be made on a follow-up scan. I have personally had that happen where a vehicle was not found in a river, then after a winter flood, was found the next year after silt had been moved away. If there is even the slightest doubt in anyone's mind that someone should come back later we will never mark an area as completely cleared. And I am glad you feel the same way. Best of luck in your neck search. I think I've mentioned my closing phrase enough to you, and the offer will always be here in Michigan.
I have been watching your RU-vid channel for a few months, l happened to run across it because I love mysteries and things of that nature, I started watching it and I was amazed with all the compassion and all the skill that you bring to your dive sites. Your team is truly a godsend for these families that need answers to their loved ones that the police are not able to give to them due to one thing or another. God bless you guys, you are all in my prayers you do happen to do a dangerous job whether your viewers know it or not.
This case is so disturbing. When I first heard of you guys I was going to write you! Thank you for what you are doing! They have to be somewhere ! They must be in the water.
Again guys you do incredible work I live in London England and I’m telling a lot of people here about you guys and what you do 💯💯💯💯 seriously great work to you all x
I ride my jet ski almost every weekend with my friends, it’s crazy to see you guys here! I too am amazed that there aren’t more cars at any of the piers, there’s so many spots for a car to drive right in. Looking forward to the next video
I'm going to order several of the emergency window Breakers. My best friend in high school was driving with her three-month-old baby, skidded off the road in the rain, and landed upside down in a creek. Her windows were electric, she could not lower them, and she and her baby drowned in three feet of water.
What a tragedy! I’m so sorry to hear that happened. I ordered a bunch of those breakers I have one zip tied to my mirror. I have one in the back area and one on my key ring. I did my husbands car like that too! I had to order mine on Amazon because their link wasn’t working. I bought really bright color breakers I figure if you are in murky water you might be able to see a bright object easier. Again my condolences I can’t imagine how her family felt as well.
I just bought 4 of the seat belt/window breakers. I cannot wait to get them. You guys are absolutely amazing and special people. ❤️ thank you for what you do
I'm from the area where the parents owned a bakery, the family had been a part of the community for almost 70 years, and it's so sad to see that there are still no answers about their son and they lost their bakery.
husband lie detector was inconclusive and he had an alibi but could of very well hired someone else. his alibi included some police convenient isn't it.
I think it might help in your search if you talk to the locals who've been in the area since before their disappearance and maybe someone might recollect any incident. Also any city employee who worked in the area at that time, ie., police, fire, sanitation, the guys who run the street sweepers etc. I worked in South Philly for the fire dept. for 15 years and drove that road every day at least twice. There wasn't really many places you might get to the water without somebody noticing something out of the ordinary. Good luck in your search and I hope it bears fruit.
I live in the suburbs of Philly and I remember this happening. It was the strangest thing. How they disappeared with a vehicle and nobody came foreword with any information.
The Delaware River bridges have one way toll heading into Philadelphia. If they crossed the bridge going east into NJ, there is no toll record. According to Wikipedia, the one way tolls started in the 90’s. I’ve been a local resident crossing the bridge every day for work and that sounds right. I know you heard the FBI said there was no record of them crossing into NJ, but they might not have accounted for the one way tolls.
The first time i have seen your video by accident i got hooked now i am one of thousands of people praying for your safety and success for finding missing people and reuniting them with their fmily giving them closure. I salute all of you AWP TEAM love all the way from the Philippines🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Want to Thank you for the info and videos you all put out to us. I bought my entire family the little window breaker seatbelt cutter for a Stocking stuffer once they each got a car...
Are you from the Philly area? I know they checked the Schuylkill river on the Gladwyne side -at the boat ramp on River Road, a couple years back and 11 cars were there!!… they were looking for another missing person. They claimed they didn’t have enough money to remove all the vehicles. Can you image that, coming from the third richest zip code in the country. So, as far as I know… cars/trucks are still there.
Good effort guys, I've a feeling if it was foul play that location it's too open and busy, if they are in water it's would be a more sucluded location. Can't praise you enough for your outstanding work. Absolutely love you guys your heaven heaven sent. Xxxx
In reference to the comment n the description I purchased everyone n my family a window breaker seat belt cutter for Christmas & made them all watch ur video u & Doug did to show them how to use them, Y they should have them etc... bc u jus never know when u will need'em. & w/that I THANK U AWP for the video & the window breaker/seat belt cutter. ♥️♥️♥️
Sometimes it resources but it could also be negligence, unless we know from the police directly it’s hard to say. Hopefully not the second one but sometimes law enforcement aren’t always helpful on these cases. It’s sad, these ppl have been missing for so long and deserve to be found for their children’s sake. Whatever is holding back this investigation should be bypassed so they can at least make progress.
I also remember this case on TV, I believe it was the ID channel. And living in PA, heard a lot about it. I have a lot of ideas, but keep silent. It's a shame. Hope you locate something so these families need closure I also remember when you were there the 1st time. Good luck. Prayers for the families!
I recall that the moorings just south of D&B has a large problem with silting in (south of the USS Olympia). Check with the Philly police's marine unit to see if the reason you cant see anything on the sonar is that they get buried in the silt too quickly. -Also, go north of D&B into the Fishtown neighborhood. Lots of old, old abandoned piers. lots of "lovers lane" spots where a car can get into the river easily. Especially in the days before the waterfront was re-developed. Look at google earth's 12/2004 images to see how wide open it was
