Christian Aquino my husband got Tracie to sing This little light of mine thru that cameo thing... it was awesome...and she rocked it even without a choir...
The woman this was loosely based on, Viola Liuzzo, participated in the march from Selma. This March marks the 50th anniversary. That month started with the murder of the Rev. James Reeb and ended with hers toward the end. She was driving the last person home from the march. She never made it home. Tracie Thoms has an awesome voice and is a terrific actress. I hope to see her do more of each.
+Lavern Merriweather you bugging son have you seen the movie called rent she got some pipes you just mad cuz you can't sing at all everybody got their own preference but each to own i guess
It’s just so disappointing that these same people went to church with their families on Sundays and discriminated against their brothers and sisters 6 days a week.
*I am the original poster (MrsMac5) of these Cold Case Ends. RU-vid 'cited' me for too many Copyright breaches and blocked most of the videos. What you see on here is all that's left, yet I have made the end of every episode.*
I just rewatched this episode of Cold Case. As sad that this woman was killed for helping in the civil rights movement, it was actually sadder when her friends could not get help from the police because 2 were black and the other Jewish so they wound up abandoning her body.
good episode too, the time of the civil rights movement, and wow, the song in the end, Detective Kat Miller is a good singer lol...the actress I mean, shes good...
+SgtSplatter782 i know she so beautiful too i especially like when she first joined the team with them curls she had on her head looking like a little munchkin
Okay episode. It was loosely based on the 1965 murder of Viola Liuzzo, a housewife involved in the civil rights movement. I really like Alexandra Lydon a lot, and it's too bad she's not better known. (You might remember her as Jane Saunders, daughter of the main terrorist in season three of "24") I kinda wish they'd picked a less obvious doer though. How about the guy's sister instead?
The police station scene showed that even up north, there was so much prejudice, they could not report that their friend was murdered so they had to dump her body.😢
Hey, wasn't Kat Miller's mother one of the women who went to Mississippi to volunteer with the "Tupperware" women? That would explain why the 2nd black woman didn't join the reunion of the other 2 surviving members.
Actually the reason the 2nd black woman didn't join the reunion is because she was dead by then. It was said earlier in the episode that she had died years earlier.
