I first saw them play in 1975. For me they will always be Australia's greatest rock band. This is one of my favourite songs of theirs. I often have a three day growth (and longer) but never cheap wine (life is too short to drink mediocre liquids).
Would you believe Cold Chisel have just announced they are doing a 50th Anniversary re-union tour here in Australia. Jimmy has not long ago had open heart surgery shows how much these guys love performing together.

I got into Cold Chisel the year after they first broke up. I was shattered that i would never get to see them live but then they reformed in the late 90s and all that changed. They were just brilliant! I think i'll be trying to get tickets to the reunion tour
@@SaeedReacts. countdown was the "top of the pops" for australia for decades. But they famously had the top bands come in and never let them perform live no matter how well prepared they were. It's great that we got their performances, but could have been so much more.

There's a lot of good uploads of Cold Chisel's work hidden in the youtube results list. I wish they could rise up to the top of the search results. I wish Cold Chisel put the HD quality uploads of their old classic stuff.

Oh how I love this band and Jimmy ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I don’t normally recommend the official version, but I do love the way Jimmy changes his T-shirt in that one. I’ve never seen anyone do it that way. We all live in hope for tickets. Please oh please.

I can't for the life of me see what is so good about this band. Only Aussies can get this and we all know where they descended from. To the reactor, just stick to British music like The Jam, Bauhaus, The Smiths. That's where the real music is.
