As always, this video is very informative and being a CA, I like the way you calculate the capital cost per glass without ingredients. For citrus and also other fruits like pineapple and water melon, the hand cranked juicer costing 3-500 INR online does a very good job. I have been using one for more than two years now and it surprisingly still works and for the costing part - assuming Orange at 50 a kilo - a large 300 ML glass of pulpy Orange juice costs around 15-20 inr which is a third of what it costs in a regular juice shop. Maybe if you do a follow up video - do mention these hand cranked ones as well. The market for these cold pressed juicers, I am guessing, will be in single digit thousand per annum for the whole of India and hence very niche Hope you hit 100K subscribers soon. Maybe being English language only channel is keeping the numbers down.
Hi Prasad, thank you 😊 Yeah The hand juicer is the other option, definitely will be a lot cheaper per glass. You are right about the language! Many have asked me about it but my fluency in Hindi is not as good 😌. Thanks for your kind words on reaching 100k 😁
Hi mam , can u please advice how is the hafelle cold press juicer , as it has the lowest rpm and 250 watt motor , is it better then kuvings , as i am mainly looking for beetroot and carrots juices
Hi Madam, your Channel/videos are one stop solution for buying home appliances. Especially one who newly married and bought new home 😊. I find your channel today and I started recommending from today. Impressed with one video ❤
maa'm, Could you make the best juicer video in 2023 please? This video is year old, and there has been many new Slow Juicer available on market. Which one you recommend in 2023?
This is the most authoritative video on coldpressed juicer. I have been researching a lot that do I need a cold press juicer and which brand and which model. Thank you so much for saving my many many hours. Only sad fact is that had I seen this video earlier I would have saved many hours of my life. So thank you so so so much and God bless!!!
As a Doctor my only view on this is 'eat your fruits instead' . You need the fiber, the fructose inside the intact cell wall is realeasd slowly . Any juice , cold pressed or no, the difference is truly negligible scientifically.
Agree with doctor, True for the healthy person. Patients or sick people can use this type of cold press juicer and get nutrients by consuming liquid. raw fruits will fill their stomach and very less space for other food. moreover some fruits or vegetables , you can not eat raw like palak etc. in such cases cold press juicer helps.
Beetroot pinaple mosambi, we don't consume directly, banana, sitafal, guava we don't do juice, mango fruit can work as a juice or with out juice, any way juicer is usefull but not this brand hurom is best for nutrition purposes and easy cleaning
For people who are lazy eating their fruits intact and love to have fruits and vegetable juice, a cold pressed juicer is a must.. I love the one I have from moulinex .. it can make ice creams too .. just love it ! 😎😎
Hai Saumya G, Kuvings B700 VS Kuvings Evo 1700 Wats the difference can u explain please, Watched a lot of videos about this but I didn't still get a point which one to buy & im really confused, Quality matters not money...... from Amravati of Andhra Pradesh...
Hi Mohammad, the main difference is the juicing bowl. This one amzn.to/3qxmJXC has a silicone and rubber free tech, the other one does not. Everything else is more or less the same.
Hi, Thanks for the analysis. There is no mention of Wonderchef v6. any views on the same. ? What about cleaning of cold press juicers. Are they easy cleaning for everyday use or will become a headache ?
Hi Sumeet Bhatia! You can view this video on cold press juicer demo. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fCv00z8By2E.html. Cleaning is not too difficult but there are quite a few parts to be cleaned.
Great, but you missed certain facts. I have been using Certrifual juicers for many years and then I bought a Bosch cold press juicer for about 16K. My latest machines is Kuvings B1700, which is an excellent machine and also one of the largest sold machines in the world and in India. I really wonder how any of Kuvings model did not came uder your scanner. Your vedios are, indeed, well appreciated. Keep it up!!!
Thanks Tissy! I did review 3 Kuvings models too. Hurom and Kuvings are good premium models. My second reco for premium would have been Kuvings! Hurom scored over Kuvings in a few parameters like the feeding tube size.
Thank you for such a wonderful vedio.... Was overwhelmed to hear that it is helping in making nut milk also.. Had one dought, can it make milk from seeds also? TIA Would be eagerly waiting for ur response
Hi Mam, could you please help me to clear to below points, Is philips HR1855 will come under cold pressed juicer? Is this one good for carrot, beetroot and Apple juices? I am looking one good juicer ( carrot, beetroot) plz suggest me one good one under 6 to 7 k. Blannzo juicer is will be good for making APC juices?
Hi Chintalapudi, no that is a centrifugal juicer. At that budget, you can consider this one amzn.to/3SvMnIr. But it will have a shorter run time than the ones compared as it has lower wattage.
Thankyou mam your video is quite helpful but i have doubt that cold press juicer material has majority of parts are with good plastic but plastic react with plastic and can cause cancer in long run use . Which cold press juicer is formed of stainless steel so that juicer must be non reactive to any type of juice. I am waiting for reply
nice explanation and pls make another video based on equally important factors like which company provides better after sales, again depends on whether one lives in which tier city, village, remote location etc and whether spares are available easily if anything breaks down etc etc, these are also vital points to consider if one is investing in such machine
Hi Ashwanikumar, I don't see anything drastically wrong with it - RPM is higher, chopping disk is useful only if you plan to use it as a food processor. You can consider this instead amzn.to/3uJSyhK
Hi Ma'am What distinguishes the Hestia nutri max Juicer 2020 (wine red) from 2021( siver black) model. Is it worth investing more money on the 2021 model given the difference in price of almost 2500. Btw great explanation and informative video. Thanks
Hi Siddhartha Vardhan! The feeding tube size and number of attachments. Although I think they have added the extra attachment to the red model also. I've tried this one amzn.to/3DYISFH and it is quite good.
True that. I've been trying out one and it's turning out to be awesome. Sometimes a fruit can be added to the vegetable juice to add natural sweetness.
During the video you have also mentioned that more high voltage more the juice.when compared Kuvings is also having 250 W, i am eager to understand from you if there is any string reason for you jot to recommend Kuvings.your response helps me to make a decision to purchase a cold pressed juicer.thank you once again for making these videos
Hi Pranavi, Kuvings is great and has similar voltage compared to this one amzn.to/3g4sSIr recommended. Mainly the smaller feeding tube was the reason. But the latest model amzn.to/3WVeJxQ is giving good warranty - 12 years.
Madam after seeing all videos and reviews, I am still confused. I need a juicer for extracting juice only. I think Agaro, and Hestia all are at a high rate as per my requirement. Is USHA 285F suitable for my use? I need juicer to extract all kind of juices hard vegetables to citrus fruits. Or I go with hestia etc
Hi Varun, if you are looking for a budget cold pressed one, then this Agaro is good amzn.to/3FxH1o7 at 13k. Most of the good cold pressed juicers are upwards of 10-12k. If you don't need a cold pressed juicer then you will get at a much lower price - starting the nutribullet at 2K. Hope this helps.
Hi Parin, does not give anything extra for that additional pricepoint (except for brand ofcourse). I'd recommend amzn.to/3ntaMjS or www.amazon.in/dp/B07DLCZT11?tag=thegrapevin08-21 instead.
Oh my this video is brilliant! Thank you for giving so much clarity and information. I am looking to purchase a cold press juicer and this video perfect!
all that is great, but the most valuable thing was in the first sentence or two: try to consume veggies and fruit in natural form. sugars are plentiful in fruit and while it takes some time to masticate a fruit together with the pulp (which is where all your fiber, including water-soluble, is), gushing down a glass of juice is effortless (you don't get tired drinking in the same way as your jaw muscles tire while chewing), and you can easily dunk two glasses in sequence skyrocketing your blood sugar. Is "swinging" your sugar management system good? Not really. And one more thing: juice doesn't give you a sense of insatiation. Fibers do. So if you want to get the best of your hard juicy veggies and fuit, perhaps you should consider not separating juice from fiber, but rather grind the produce into a fine purée for easier absorption and just eat it like ice cream with no hurry. I think pretty much any slow juicer offers you the option of obtaining finely ground purée. To me, this advantage is way more valuable than any other calculations that illustrate separated juice yields. It's the quality of what we get, not the quantity or presentation, that matters most in the end. Well and of course the oxydation point is very valid.
I m a doc and agree with the discussion below of retaining the fibers in fruits and vegetables. But i ve a question to u, for eg beetroot, gooseberry etc are essential and very good for health, eating raw everyday is kind of a punishment, so how can I retain the juice and fiber in an appliance to solve my objective and which appliance to use. I really appreciate u, for too the point precise information with good attitude. Keep it up and keep doing good quality job.
Hi Priti, thank you :) Cold press juicer will be better in this case as it presses out the juice than cutting. Yes, you will loose out on the fibre as almost all juicers remove a majority of fiber from the juice.
After watching your video I think you are really knowledgeable person and sharing great content... I believe juice made from hand pressed juicer is also as good as cold pressed juice or maybe better than cold pressed juice... What are your thoughts on this and kindly review some good hand pressed juicer as well...
kudos for researching on the content and it's presentation. But the best part is, you are smiling more in your videos, making them good to watch and is more relatable too. Looking for more contents like this :)
Hi Hemanshi - Like I mentioned in the video, very small differences in many of these models, cannot go wrong with most :). Kuvings B1700 is great as well. 2 reasons Hestia had a slight edge in that price range - 1-lower rpm 2 - higher feeding tube. And slightly lower cost.
Can you make a video on rinse aid not getting off dishes in my dishwasher when I pour water in glasses I see bubbles coz rinse aid is still there do you experience the same problem
Hi Meena, will do that. Like I mentioned in my other comment - try reducing the setting to 1. Also have seen people not using rinse aid altogether. If you are using tablet, can avoid.
Didi I want juicer which can make juice around 70-80% pure bcoz no juicer can make 100% pure my budget is around 10-15k I saw many videos of juice maker but mostly those juicers who are under 10 k are useless for me bcoz in that we have to add water to make juice which is bad for me bcoz if we add water in juice then it is not a natural juice so I want to buy juicer which can make juice without adding water in it and In brief can you elaborate about the different between centrifugal juicer and cold press juicer by the way informative video🙏
Hi Aditya, I cover centrifugal vs cold press in this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bI3xh0VoxUw.html. You can consider this juicer which gives you max juice with no water - amzn.to/3ntaMjS
Hi Shashank, if you are looking just for juicing then this amzn.to/3M3NKdS is ok. While they have not published it, it does seem to have a smaller feeding tube (which means you have to cut fruits / veggies smaller) and a 150W means it cannot run for too long in one shot. They claim 20 min - which may be enough for a small batch of juicing.
@@TheGrapevineIndia Hello, Wine. I appreciate your response. Which juicer, in your opinion, is the best under 15k and under 30k? And ur opinion on kuvings? Please
Hi Rashmi, in my latest video, I identified this one as also one to consider. amzn.to/3dR9o9b. But it's not much different or better than this amzn.to/3YFZV6A
Hi Shruthi, Kuvings as a brand is great. Since this is a comparison video, this product www.amazon.in/dp/B07DLCZT11?tag=thegrapevin08-21 from Kuvings has a higher RPM and lower tube diameter than Hestia, so that's why this amzn.to/3ntaMjS was recommended.
Cold press juicers are absolutely not worth it. I have been a happy Sujata 810 watts mixer owner since 2012, I added the juicer components about 5 years ago and I have enjoyed a variety of juices since then. I bought the Agaro Imperial a few days ago after reading about cold press juicers but it is hardly a match for my Sujata. In fact I don't think any of the cold press and slow juicers can match the centrifugal juicers. I have used Juiceman and Omega earlier, both centrifugal and they were superb. Both yield and quality of juice that the slow juicers are claiming are not at all true or justified. The juice from the Agaro Imperial slow juicer is dilute and very light and the yield is very poor. Worst part there is pulp in the juice and you will have to filter it again, what a pain! Just stick to your centrifugal mixer juicers that will cost half the price or one third the price of a cold press juicer.
After watching this video, i won't buy any of them because i got confused 😂 Seriously speaking, Cold press is the same as "Mosambiwala" Juicer i prefer this
These days I do not watch your channel. The expressions on your thumbnail are a good enough a reason to bring a smile 😃. Make a video on the art of making great thumbnails for RU-vid channel 😂
@@TheGrapevineIndia With these expressions, I would not be surprised to see you on an appliance commercial very soon ! Have the offers started flowing in already? ( This time I am not joking 😊)
I brought a Philips juicer for my parents aniversary. The juicer has seen maybe 4carrorts and 10 oranges in the last 10years, that's it. Never ever will I buy juicer in my life or I will recommend it to anyone.
@@TheGrapevineIndia it was a Philips juicer. I noticed that the plastic stem where we insert the fruit and carrot was scraping agaist the rotating cone which has holes to scrape the fruit. Small amount of plastic ends up in the juice. I took the thing to service centre twice and they replaced the stem and checked alignment and it was still scraping plastic along with the fruit. Finaly i gave up. They say it is manufactured like that and nothing can be done.
Once again, you didn’t even show the product you claim to review. Why will I trust you when you’re literally just reading things off google, and there are people who actually purchased products and I can see them working until the video? Sure aesthetics are nice and you sound nice but if I legit wanted to buy a juicer you have zero basis to be trusted, since I can’t even see the product you claim is good! My same feedback again: Review things you’ve personally purchased, which was the USP of this channel. Perhaps a visit to the local shopkeeper who can show a demo of different models may be awesome.
Thanks for your feedback Rustam. Reading things off google - Not true - as there is ton of effort spent in researching and analyzing which you won’t need to do yourself if you were considering purchasing. This is the value most viewers find in this channel. Like I mentioned earlier too - my videos are meant to help you shortlist. Once shortlisted you can see tons of videos or demos online or on the product pages that I’ve linked too. It’s literally impossible to have all of the products to demo. Also - no force to watch too if there is no trust 😊 you can choose to watch other videos that may help you take a call. I appreciate you sharing your point of view, I’ve shared mine back. Hope it helps clarify the purpose of this channel.
Hello Rustam, I am happy that you raised this. To start with, I do understand the point you made and to an extent agree with it. But let me spell out a few things as a viewer of this channel. I connected to this channel much after I made my decision to buy most of the things she has covered. But still I connected because of the way Saumya put the comparative analysis of products in each category. It might have sounded like reading from Google. But trust me, I have put tough questions and some googlies at times around the decision making process and every time there was a genuine question, I have seen Saumya provide logical, convincing and sincere answers. This can not come without putting efforts in a technical analysis. Getting a video demo can add value and there is no denying to that. But having said that, most of the common people do not get this kind of detailed analysis in stores where many times the seller also does not know much beyond price, warranty and few specs here and there. I do not think Saumya is reviewing products. As a matter of fact, she is bringing all choices backed with data available online in a single frame in that 6-8 minute long video which can help people take their own decision depending their particular USE CASE. That is the USP of this channel and NOT that she herself has used the product. But in the end, we still are well within our rights to not trust her 😀. I never would have jumped in this conversation. But somewhere I felt that the "Google" comment kind of belittled her content and thought of putting it the right perspective. Peace out !! 👍
@@HarmonicaShala I agree, it takes up lot of time in researching about the products . Her videos personally helped me a lot shortlist the products and her analysis on products is good.
