i've got an 88 that i still drive. I just put another 3600 kms on it driving it through the rockies. No issues. LOve my conversion van. 5.7L Nope, not for sale.
Remember these conversion vans once upon a time were the most expensive vans out there and still to this day the newer ones go for 65k plus. Back in the 80's this was a huge deal so the manufacturers put extra care and love into them.
Buying a 1990 Vandura once my direct deposit hits. The one I am buying has been converted into a mobile home with a bed, and wood flooring. probably gonna park it down by the river and live there during the summer as a summer home or something.
Indirect lights, maybe interior lights.. Good videos guys. Apparently you guys have never seen a conversion van. Wood trim, curtains, blinds, etc all part of the conversation. Those old chevy and gmc truck/vans are awesome. Had a 1991 pickup that had 300,000 miles before the tyranny gave out. The previous owner did not do proper oil changes so I did swamp the engine from a junkyard at about 250,000.
89,000 miles, it's just broke in!! You don't find conversion vans often becuase people keep them until they rust out or they end up wrecked in an accident. 350 chevy motor =the workhorses of GM. With a 4 Barrel Carb, I'd bet. Great 3/4 ton van with nice interior.
I've got one that is really similar to this. Not sure what year model it is but it's a vandura 2500. Mine has interior lights built into the ceiling over each seat and led lights builtin over the seats.
I’m not sure but I think these vans have a direct injection system tied to the carburetor, so there’s that to note as to why she might have started so quickly..
