I don't think anyone can deny the historical significance of the Ford flathead V8. I remember seeing an old Ford hot rod driving by, the unique sound it made. When I got closer to it, I could easily see the exposed flathead V8. What a cool thing to see!
If I could find an old FORD flathead V8, I'd give it modern fuel injection just to hear the sound difference. An old flathead with a Haltech ECU hahaha.
Yes I have seen a lot of flat head engines I owned al few of them. V16 Cadillac flathead V8 flathead Cadillac flat head Ford pickup, flathead roadster Ford strait 8 flathead fireball 8 Buick ww2 dodge power wagon 3 quarter ton flathead 6, ww2 flathead 4 cyl. Willys jeep, ww2 strait 6 wrecker, strait 6 deuce and a half. And many many more all original war time configuration all running and street legal and licensed drivable. And many many more. Packards Hudson’s trucks and cars wreckers delivery vehicles even had a railroad maintenance track car flat head 4 cyl. Love them all love every single one of them and would not sell them for anything.
Years ago I found about a dozen flatheads buried in the bank of a creek, I wonder if they're still there? They were used for fill with other scrap metal
The guy pouring gas in the carb from a glass jar is just begging for trouble. One backfire and your hand is on fire. Drop that glass jar of gas now you really have a fire...
