I changed from 0W20 to 5w30 on my daughters 2012 Imprezza and the change was like night and day it went from a noisy rattletrap to a smooth running car overnight,I don't care if I lose 1 or 2 mpg!
That's awesome to hear & the fuel savings might be even more minuscule than that. A lot of the savings were .7-1 mpg at best for Honda's switching from 5w-20 to 30. Not worth a self destructing startup, every time..
@@TheAZPro-yi8bu it states in the manufacturers book that thicker viscosities can be used in higher temps. Please avoid spreading misinformation without doing proper research my man.
@@WhereMyCountryLies you know other countries have different viscosities recommended for the same engines? This is due to CAFE regulations, do some more research.
