@@Bates1960 I have the City Stick and it is really nice, almost too nice for walking in the woods or neighborhood. I ended up dropping it and I scratched the ball n the top of it. Still a cool sick. I really wish the walking stick would come back in style, people give me some odd looks when I carry mine.

@@stpeteaustin I got the city stick a year ago. It's a lot slimmer lightweight and easy to use. The knob can also be engraved. I'm planning on getting the African walking stick next.

@@Bates1960 I read it’s 38 1/2 inches. I’m 5’11, so I’m going to cut mine down to 36 inches and put a rubber end on it.

@@Bates1960 I'm trying to buy walking sticks for timber rattlers in the Appalachian mountains. My sister takes my daughter and my niece hiking there all the time. They always make snake sticks before they go. If you're walking in brush where you can't see the ground, you have to root around with a snake stick first. I figured a self defense walking stick could kill two birds with one stone. The problem is that my sister is 5' 2" tall, and my daughter and niece are like 4' 6" and 4' 11". I think the head on the African Walking Stick would be way too large for my sister's tiny hands.

@@Bates1960 I have a mobility disability, so I no longer go hiking there, like I did through my late 20's. The entire time my sister is out with my daughter and niece, I wait in fear that something bad is going to happen. I did convince my sister to buy a large knife, which she carries. Knives won't do a lot of good against Timber Rattlers.
