I'm wondering about having a cold frame. Will that work almost as well, or do you have to cover growing crops which are growing into the late fall and winter with a frost "blanket", and, occasionally leave the cold frame slightly ajar? Thank you - you answered my question towards the end of the video, at least as far as venting! Thank you!

I have never started a vegetable or fruit garden. I am going to start, I guess, in spring. Thank you for the great information and tips you give.
