Bought the one gallon Coldest Water Bottle and the water stays Ice cold for 4 days. Plus they have the best customer service!! I had a Straw problem and emailed them to buy a replacement and they told me "No worries we'll send a new one for free". That was so awesome of them. I'm a Customer for life with them.
I have a gallon yeti but after reviewing the coldest water bottle I'm going to be getting one of those. Impressive bottles. Thanks for sharing about the customer service.
I'm not a physicist, but I think the shape of the bottles play into this. The Yeti has a much bigger mouth, so the plastic lid has to cover a lot more surface area than it does on the other two bottles. And since the plastic lid will be the "weak point" on all the bottles, this explains why the Yeti lagged so far behind.
the yeti lagged so far behind because its over priced garbage. don't get me wrong i like drinking coffee out of the yeti mug i have , but i was given it as a gift , after trying out coldest for the first time recently i would never pick a yeti over coldest ever. coldest hands down is not only a better product , but its a much better price.
If you have the straw kid, does it make an obnoxiously loud noise when you drink from it? I saw a review and it literally sounds like a car horn and I wanted to know before I buy one
Really appreciate you showing Celsius as I'm in Australia. I have a Yeti, but a friend got a Coldest bottle, so I ordered one. So glad to see it's worth getting!
It’s kind of weird that I’m watching this video because I already own the coldest water bottle but I just bought another one today so I kind of wanted to do a size comparison for the one that I’m just purchasing is a 21 ounce because I currently own 32 ounce and the ice will last three days it is amazing
Great video! I really appreciate you not caving to these companies for reimbursement, a ton of people do which really skews the true ratings. Your integrity means alot! As for the water bottles, my initial guess was the hydro flask. I dont have any experience with "coldest" and I have one yeti product. In my opinion, yeti is very over rated and extremely over priced. My go-to water bottle for the gym is a camel bak but ill have my eye on the coldest water bottle if I need a replacement.
I just got a Coldest water bottle in 40oz from seeing their marketing on IG and low behold after watching some YT videos, I made the right choice! My doctor says I need l drink more water so im glad I got it.
I was sold on yeti but for a different reason. Its durability. Never owned a hydro flask but a lot of people have said they can get easily damaged and dented if your not careful with it. Apparently they're not made to take much abuse.
This is definitely true: a simple drop from 1-2 feet onto soft (e.g., muddy) ground and boom! There’s your first Hydro Flask dent! On the positive side, their colorful finishes don’t crack, so it might even look even worse.
I appreciate the feedback. I've changed up things in my more recent videos. If you end up checking them out I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Great review, Jeff! Confucius say: Man with watch always know what time it is. Man with 2 watches, never sure. There is typically some plus or minus degree of error between different thermometers. The second test was accurate because you used the same thermometer. Part of the first test’s differences could be due to different thermometers, unless you checked them for calibration first. I’m confident in your results though because the second test still showed The Coldest Water Bottle to be the best insulated. 👍👍👍
I love the coldest water bottles they do stay the coldest the longest but I still use my yeti and hydro flask but I love my 64 oz pink coldest water bottle the ice stay in there for about 3 days
I just replaced my 75$ 64 ounce Yeti with a 55$ 64 ounce Coldest. I just wasn’t happy with the Yeti not staying cold for 24 hours. The Coldest water bottle has definitely exceeded my expectations!
*paused* 🙈 Hmmm... 🤔 I'd bet dollars to doughnuts 💵2️⃣🍩that the #1🏆 champion HAS to be... 🥁... Coldest Water Bottle simply because the answer is right there... 🤭 in the name. 💁🏼♀️ The company wouldn't just LIE right to us. 🤓🤣 That's how it works, I believe. 🤦🏻♂️ Lol!! 🤷🏾😆
I like them all, but if I had to pick it would be the yeti. In a later video I laser engraved my face on it...lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I know this is old but... If you would take 3 bottles from the same manufacturer, any manufacturer. Same model bottles just 3 different sizes. The largest volume bottle would win this test every time. It is in fact a huge factor in how long it takes for the contents to heat up or cool down. Another factor against the yeti is that it's inside wall is almost double the thickness of the hydro flask. Not preheating/precooling the bottle before pouring in the actual liquid you want to store in it hurts it therefore the most. Preheating/precooling is thermos use 101. Third factor is the opening. The narrower opening inherently has less losses due how these vacuum seal bottles are constructed. The wide opening on the other hand is a lot easier to clean or fill with ice so I would prefer it it for storage or coffee or flavoured drinks and ease of use.
When there is ice in the water, you know that the water temperature shouldn’t be more than 32 degree Fahrenheit. If you would show us how much Ice was left for those two brands that would give us a better picture. Thank you
I'm looking for a water bottle that will keep my water coldest longer planning to travel to Florida and I love to stay hydrated drinking cold water. Thank you for this great review . Thank God I'd found your channel. Look like I will be ordering Coldest brand for my trip to the water park.
Figured they would all be about the same. Thank you though, for this review!! I need to drink more water, due to some medication I just started. The only way I'll drink it, is if it's ice cold with ice. I've already got a few yetis, but mine are the bigger ones, don't fit in my cup holder & you see they don't keep cold for that long lol... I keep trying to find the perfect water bottle. I've got way too many and I'm tired of buying them. I just saw the Coldest Water Bottle while researching for one. I was about to buy one, but figured I'd read some reviews before getting another one that I'd only use 2 times. Your review seems legit and I enjoyed watching it. Definitely subbed & will be checking out your channel tonight! Thanks again!!
Thanks for the support...in my opinion if you have a bottle that keeps your drink cold during the day use it...the three in this video all did pretty good. have a great day and stay safe.
Maybe not super obvious but the shape of the bottle has a lot to do with it. The yeti having a much wider opening is an immediate handicap. I actually own that yeti and love it but I have the two piece "Chug" cap that gives it more of bottle shape and an extra barrier to heat dissipation. I have had better luck with that. Great review!
Perfect timing! I didn’t know that coldest has a straw adapter. I feel safer driving when I don’t have to tip my water bottle up. Been using another bottle (thermos) with straw but the don’t sell replacements. So, I ordered all 3. Thank you.
Good thing is the Coldest and Hydro Flask are basically the same. Not able to tell the difference between 31 degree water vs 34 degree water. I use my Hydro Flask for longer trips (40 oz.) and my Coldest for daily use so it fits in my cup holder (24 oz.). Both are a win.
I love Hydro . Love the look and love what it does. Never go to so many hours so I’m good. If I decide maybe do a long trip . Definitely buying the coldest bottle !!! Thank u
Yeti tries to win on higher price means better, but in fact they are not the best. I have cups from RTIC, Ozark Trail (walmart brand), and Ice Shaker. I can honestly say the Ozark Trail performs just as good as any of them.
coldest water RU-vid channel just posted a highlight video of you review and linked you're full review video. (Its how I just learned about you). might have a influx of new subscribers coming in.
This is a great review. I have both a yeti and a coldest and well the coldest really lives up to its name. Great for hot days on the beach. Actually it’s sometimes annoying how long and cold it keeps it. When I need the ice to melt haha.
Ain't much you can do leaving these out in the son and it's hella bad if the bottle I'd dark black. Forgot mine in the pasture on the farm over a 4 day weekend over 100 all the time but night time. Water was so hot we could make noodles. Sounded like and get took off when I broke the seal
My yeti keeps my water cold for 24 hours. I’m very pleased with my yeti. I think maybe the installation is broken or something. I have a hydroflask and it sucks. My water turns warm sooo fast.
Jeff, Would you please post the water bottle specs. Coldest, Hydro flask and Yeti. It would be good for comparison to be able to compare specs: the size and weight of each bottle. Actually, for various activities, the spec data is quite valuable. For example, what is the diameter of the bottle; height with the top off and height with top on; and overall empty weight. Thank you for your consideration.
I got the coldest water bottle only because I seen it at work and liked the color last night I got a yeti for free from work and I stand behind the coldest water bottle my kid has yeti everything and we tested it my coldest water bottle was colder this is an accurate test I did not do hot tho I don’t put hot in my coldest water bottle only cold
True. I work outside at overnites and in Florida. I fill ice and freeze my yeti canister and ice will be melted..course I drink it in the shift..but ice melts. No biggie as it stays cold. Now my yeti tumbler on my nightstand with a lid that's flip and plastic. Nope. Sucks. Ice makes it to like three ounces of water.
The review is awesome! But to be fair it should have the same size, larger volume always have the edge for this. To exage it, you can try that in comparing 12 oz vs 1 gallon to see my point.
Thank you for this! I went to look for reviews and you were the first to top up. I don’t need to look any further. You explain well and give details that I would look for or that I didn’t think about.. just the details.. so thank you!!!!
Haha. I would have gone with the YETI too, pretty much because I never heard of the other ones before testing them out. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I saw Another youtuber say that the coldest water bottle makes wierd sounds, the one with the straw. Is your the same? Edit: i mean when you drink from the straw.
@@Jeffreviews4u Thanks for doing the review! I am about to purchase the Coldest right now since there is a sale. Just debating on with a straw or without. Hahaha
Well done on the reviews. Most appreciated! I'm actually looking to Replace my wonderful Healthy Human water bottle... now I'm wondering how it stands up against the Coldest Bottle. If you're familiar, please advise. Coldest company should automatically sponsor your channel for this review. Kudos. Thanks again.
Hi Jeff i am guessing the Coldest Water bottle have the most delicious Hot and cold drinks this coldest water insulated bottle is my Choice stay most longest bottle for water tea hot coffee
