This song came on whilst my 10 yr old daughter and I were chilling. I told her that this song is about my love, honour and duty towards her, as my child. I promised that, as her mum, I will always be there for her, through the good and the bad....and I'll always fix her problems if I can, it's what mums do. I looked up at her and she began to cry. My crush of 4 years fell in love with my oldest friend, and he loves her too. I never noticed the lyrics till this very moment. They all hit hard, so deep inside me. I'm so sorry that happened to you. something similar happened to me and it s the worse feeling ever but keep your head up things get better. I stopped getting in my own way when I lost him and knew our relationship was impossible so I gave my self a break and started dating and found the love of my life. sometimes we are so suborn and dedicated to making that other person notice us that we lose track and sometimes the feeling ends up being of love but not the love we thought. I still love him and when I see him struggle I think of what could of been but I know without a doubt that I had to go through all that to get to where I am and where I'm is really freaking great. Hi there . I'm a teacher, or rather I was a teacher, but now I'm retired. When I was young I was a very good student. But not because I'm particularly smart ......I just worked very hard and studied a lot. Because I came from a broken home, I felt that school was all I had. And for the most part, it was. The point I want to make is this : you may FEEL stupid but you are NOT stupid. Rather than harm yourself, and see school as a WEIGHT, see school as a WAY. Despite the pressure, the nasty classmates or even the lousy teachers (but I'm sure you have one or two good ones,) school can give you a way out of whatever family, or personal mess you may have. In the end, school and study are for YOU and YOU alone. Learning helps to make life easier, believe me. And..............get back to me, okay ? A hug !
This played at my friend’s funeral I was in grade 9 and he was a youth leader at my church my parents had to chase me around the church at the end of youth group because I wanted to hangout with him more he was a nerd like me and just a amazing person to everyone who met him. But unfortunately he had cancer and he passed away. At his funeral so many people were there and I got to talk to so many people I care about. This song made me cry when I heard it. I haven’t listened to it since at least before covid if my memory is correct but I listen to it to remember him. I miss you Matt I am now 22 he died when he was 22

every time i hear this song, i think of my favorite USA soccer player. i know what you guys are thinking, it sounds weird. i'll never forget being 10 years old when landon donovan announced his retirement. i was devastated because i had been watching that man play since i was about 3 or 4 years old, and he was the reason i wore the #10 for so many years when i played soccer. i was in the car with my mom about 30 minutes or so after he announced he would be retiring, and this song played on the radio. i can't help but cry every time i hear this song because it brings back a tough memory because of someone i still idolize to this day, but i also can't help but think about how landon impacted my life in a way i never expected him to. i may not play soccer anymore, but growing up and watching him play brought me so much joy. i'm currently in college studying journalism to go into the world of soccer, and i hope to be working with landon one day too.
