I think this is my favorite Coldplay song. The rythm.. the moment the drum kicks in.. the lead guitar.. Chris’ voice.. and of course guy’s briljant bass line.. It is one big rush until the end. The energy and emotions are just contagious.

I am 15 years old and from Argentina, and yesterday I finished hearing absolutely all coldplay music, all the albums, singles and EPs. I think the sadder songs like this or ,for example X and Y, are the best. The vibe that they transmit with this kind of songs is awesome, they really touch you and make feel something different as the "happier songs" that everyone is now hearing. Back in 2003 living alone thru High School for familiar reasons, almost at the verge of falling apart for a love that never happened and trying to stay away from the demons of drugs, temptations and what not, mad depressed and sad, I remember it was 4 am on a Thursday (I was watching something called "120 minutos" on MTV latino) and I couldn't sleep thinking if I should continue with the next step or not, suddenly this song and video came out on the telly and it basically saved me....

Hubo una época en la que Coldpaly sabía mixturar la tristeza y el misterio de una forma exquisita. Esta pieza mantiene la tensión de principio a fin, es perfecta. Luego algo pasó. Pintaron el piano de colores, cantaron distinto, cambiaron de género. Se volvió más pop, más prefabricada, menos sutil, menos compleja. Vuelvo a estas épocas como quien se arrodilla ante la majestuosidad de un templo derruido y cuyo esplendor aún recuerda con nostalgia.

@@andreshernandez7906 Amigo en serio. Yo estuve hace poco en uno de sus conciertos de gira por Latinoamérica y fué lo mejor que he vivido en vida. Tocaron tanto nuevas como viejitas (Charlie Brown, Sparks, Don't Panic, The Scientist, Clocks, Yellow) y por ahí he visto que han tocado otras como Politik y Shiver. Así que creo que eso de que ya no tocan las primeras es mentira xd Saludos y espero que te animes pronto a ir a alguno de sus conciertos no te vas a arrepentir.

Devika Nair I feel you. They haven't played GPASUYF since 2017 and now Colplay performed it in their first World Tour 2022 concert in18 March, and was amazing. The best song ever, really fortunate.
