THIS was the 1st CD that me and my jr high sweetheart bought after we found each other after 22 years apart...both married 18 years...my 1st marriage produced 5 boys. My 2nd oldest was 17 in 20-01 when he was murdered in a robbery at his work...after my '03 divorce I found Elizabeth. We had nearly 9 years before she succumbed to a stroke at 51...I am alone...but always have the music.....
Mark Ash-Petta You, like me, are a survivor of a life marred by tragedy. I have just lost my beloved Mother. Which was by far the hardest thing out of everything that has happened in my life. She was 47 years old. I felt, at the time, like i was wanted to join her but i realised, she would want me to press on with my life and look after my Sisters. We are here for a reason my friend. We survive for a reason.
I hope you are doing ok. Look after yourself and your loved ones. Our tickets to heaven with our long lost loved ones are bought and paid for. The only thing unknown is what date and time we redeem them.

Here is a recent conversation between me and Ken Nelson, the main producer of this album, this was the reply I got after I asked if this was made digitally Here's Kens response: "Of course I remember details of how the album “Parachutes" was recorded. I can tell you that 8 of the 11 tracks on the album were recorded on 2 inch analogue tape and mixed to 1/2 inch analogue tape. The other 3 tracks were recorded digitally and mixed to 1/2 inch tape. I won’t divulge the titles which were recorded digitally. I’ll leave that to you. I can also confirm that the album sounds amazing on vinyl especially if you can source the high quality of a 180 grams copy. At no time were ADAT or DAT recordings used in the making of this album. Best wishes " The reason I asked this is because i believe that buying vinyl comprised of digital sources is utterly pointless, i.e. there are alot of flaws in digital procedures that alot of users and manufacturers won't admit, in reality its a nothing but a cost effective alternative to making proper recordings in the analog domain. Spending money on vinyl made after 1987 without researching into how the source was transferred or atleast made then your wasting your money, in that case and one is better off getting CD/FLAC/mp3. Digital filters, which destroy the emotion of sound, are prevalent/inherent in all pf these formats and there is very small perceptual difference between these, the bigger step comes not from upgrading your sound system, or from switching between CD/FLAC/mp3 but rather, from sourcing high quality masters that have not been remastered/mastered.
This makes me want to go out and treat myself to a record player. This track is one of my favourite tracks. Not just Coldplay but of all time. I guess it's because when I first heard it, it was the part of my life which I was the happiest ♥️
@@shumdesk9720 I’m 19.. from America. I grew up listening to this because my mom was a huge Coldplay/U2 fan. And now I have a ton of musical talent and voice because of this band.. they are by far the best band in the world lol.

Its a shame that in The cd This song because of the loudness masterization sounds with such a big, tremendous, distorsión. It would be very convenient if the band release a fair remasterization so that all of us could apreciate this very rich sound that bring this vinyl. Thanks to this Channel, those of that cd maniacs as me, we can discover the pure sound of the record. Hopefully you go on with It.

Theres a digital filter in the ADC the uploader used to rip the vinyl, there is another filter in the perceptual compression (aac.mp3) converter necessary for youtube upload/decode (thats two), then theres finally a fllter in the DAC you used to play back the file. in all a total of 4 filters (sometimes DACS can have as much as four filter stages!), let alone the filter sometimes that gets switched on if you have multiple audio programs/streams playing concurrently in windows oS, aka the 'shared mode' resampling filter which purpose is to ensure all streams are compatible with the dac installed and/or not dissimilar in sample rate - this is just a glimpse into how error prone digital media is, and most professionals, let alone listeners, ignore them. There is a chance the uploader has a good ADC sure but the DAC your end are the same or both the FLAC and the YT copy, and regardless of this, the biggest difference / jump in quality comes not from mp3 to flac or even CD but rather, if the source is conveyed without any digital filters applied necesseary for the various format changes 99% of music undergoes today just to reach its destination, i.e. the listeners ear by whatever means. With confidence I believe the main difference begins with ADC quality, the rest is inconsequential. The 2000 180gram vinyl has NOT a SINGLE digital filter used on the master/main stereo bus from microphone to disc for 8 of the 11 tracks
weeg91 At the time of this video i was using a Presonus Firestudio audio interface, and the actual recording was made on the computer with Adobe Audition at 96K/24 bits.

Hi, Usually, most people - me included - sets the anti-skating with the same numerical value of the tracking force, in your case that value would be something around 1,5 or 1,6 .
