I might be wrong but I feel like you (Arshan) were a bit more nervous speaking to the people you were interviewing years ago as it was all new but it was your path and now you are on stage in front of a room of people interviewing Bennet like a pro. Well done! A reminder to myself to always trust the process
@@KidsTakeOver i think the right guest would just be someone you just fw so much, you believe with the right platform they could change the world. just go with your gut and reach out. you will very quickly find that this, what it is you are creating, has worldwide influence. Genuine/special art will see an opportunity to grow and work alongside you.
2016 is the 1969 of the 21st century. Our nostalgia is based in the revolution itself, rather than the evolution that came after. The FM radio classic rock evolution of the early 70's was a result of the late 60's revolution. The summer of '69 was the peak moment of that movement, because their collective consciousness became aware of the social climate...and the same thing happened with us. I believe that the late 2010's music was arguably better, but it arguably was not greater. Meaning, timing is important. Was rock music better in the late 1960's, in the early 1970's? What's more influential and or inspiring, the moment or the movement? The social media music revolution, led us into realizing that something was changing, and what I like to call the "SoundCloud to NoJumper" transition, was our moment of realization. An epiphany a revelation. Drake may not have been apart of it, but when he put it to words, "all summer sixteen" it sparked the electricity and lit a light bulb in our minds. It was lit.
I honestly was waiting for this upload, But I have a quick question, what gave you the courage to travel and do interviews? (lowkey want to do the same thing but I'm scared 😭😂)
If I didn’t travel & do that then I simply wouldn’t get the interview! Haha. Had no choice. Got a talk I gave at the event where I sorta talked about that. It’ll be uploaded in a week.
Cole yapping Rich asked you to do a video shoot for him not to critique his song... you recorded plenty of trash songs lets not act like your catalog is so pristine bro... you shot the vid with dex and critch cuz you felt like you had to make it up to rich... rich was 100 % right for feeling the way he did, you basiclly blackballed him and said you not shooting his potentially biggest song at the time with a huge feature like lil wayne who probably influenced rich from his childhood.. you basiclly dubbed rich on something he trusted you with.. just shoot the video thats all you there for... btw the yellow album was pure trash expected way better.. you had all mid feats and artists..Rich got the biggest song in the world at the moment and now Cole feel a way
i remember a few months ago you was talking about giving up yt now look what you created this event this is amazing to everyone out there never give up never stop
i've been a fan of lyrical lemonade and cole since the soundcloud days (2016) and it's crazy to see how big the brand has gotten. i vividly remember watching smokepurpp's ski mask music video for the first time and i immediately knew that cole was going to go far. his visuals were super ahead of their time. lyrical lemonade is definitely a huge part of rap culture now. super happy for cole and everything he's accomplished.
Amazing event and experience and blessed to have my song played for everybody ! Thank you so much for what you do and the inspiration you’re giving countless creatives to pursue their passions ! Means way more than you know ! We will meet again someday perhaps an interview we’ll see what the future holds 👀😁
