As someone who has a huge fan of Cole, I honestly think Andrew Francis did perfectly for his new role as Cole! I’m so glad that the people behind the show chose Kirby Morrow’s closest friend to voice him and not only that, Andrew Francis definitely improved from the shorts!

@moonbased7796 I heartly agree with your comment, cause I thought the same thing when I heard Andrew Francis voice Cole, Kirby would be very proud of Andrew, his friend who is a great actor for voicing characters to playing them, he is how I came to be a fan of his and Kirby's, hearing them both as Vert Wheeler and Shirako from Hot Wheels Acceleracers movie series

In my opinion, Andrew is much better in crystallized in comparison to the core shorts. I miss Kirby, but I believe Andrew can do a good job.

It's okay in context but when watching a compilation of multiple scenes there's definitely something missing. It's a much more average voice now

I didn’t even know Kirby passed, I do feel bad, but Andrew Francis is an amazing va for Cole! He did an spectacular job, and definitely kept Coles character alive

Weirdly enough Andrew Francis and Kirby Morrow have worked together in the past on things like Megaman NT Warrior and I always used to mix up the 2 in the shows as the same actor. Always thought they were the same actor

After hearing Kirby passed and people started talking about the decision to recast Cole, I was worried about who they were gonna pick and was very relieved to hear they hired Andrew Francis. I thought it was a good decision since Andrew had already been a part of the show, and learning that he was also one of Kirby's best friends makes me even happier that he was picked.

Man I haven't watched Ninjago since s long while and while I was watching it with Coles original VA with all the older seasons. Know that Andrew Francis aka the Person who played Vert in The hot wheels movie Word Race and also MegaMan in Megan NT warrior. It wants me to watch the show again or visit it. As generally enjoy watching through The series.

I barely knew about Kirby Morrow's death until 1 year ago. Andrew Francis did amazing job as Cole that I barely knew that it wasn't Kirby Morrow voicing him. But Kirby Morrow will alway be in our hearts.

IM SO GLAD THEY KEPT KIRBY'S GRUNT LIBRARY !!!! Cole was my favourite ninja since i started watching the show when i was really really young. as a huge fan of him, when i first heard his new voice i didn't really have high hopes and began to miss kirby's voice. but soon i got used to it and i don't mind it now, and i felt like sometimes i could hear Andrew performing like Kirby really well! now that i found out they kept kirby's grunt library i realise that kirby's still with us throughout all the new ninjago seasons, he is still living out as Cole. miss you loads, kirby 🙏🙏🙏🙏 forever our #1 black ninja !!

Because I don't really watch the show anymore more I don't really care if Andrew's Cole voice sounds good or not, all that really matters to me is that he was a good friend of Kirby's and he's having fun with and showing respect to the character, also from hearing some of the sound bites I think he dose a good job, a part of me almost wants to start watching it again just to give him a proper chance.

For me, it was super weird at first, and kind of sad to know that Cole's voice from the first episodes would never be back. However, his voice was cast PERFECTLY! Andrew Francis does a fantastic job illustrating Cole's personality and mindset, even after Cole's qualities were pre-sculpted by Kirby Morrow. It was so easy to get used to and after only a couple episodes I had forgotten about the change. It may have been a bit easier for me to get used to him compared to others but even so, Andrew still keeps Cole so true to his nature that it's hard to complain about the choice of Cole's voice. In the end, I (and probably many others) rather have Cole's voice change than him be killed off. The writers definitely made the right call this time.

thats not the only reason he was a good pick though. his voice is a new take on cole that carries over the caring, reassuring vibe his original voice did whilst adding something new to the mix. this is what kirby woulda wanted. and it was important to get someone who looked up to kirby because that means he would have respected his vision for the character
