As a non city or Chelsea fan Palmer is way better. Just ask yourself if foden could carry Chelsea as much as palmer did. Same with England. Palmer is so good that people start watching Chelsea games just because of him . I am one of those as a Newcastle fan
The only reason Palmer got young player of the year not player of the year was because he was young, they looked at the two options and went well we can't give him both
Worth mentioning the academy directors response to Palmer isn't good enough with he's that's good you just can't see how good he is because even I can't see most of the time but I can at least tell he is on another level
The best thing about him are his first time shots and first time passes. It doesnt give the opponent a time to react. That high pass to Jackson shouldve been assist of the season if Jackson didnt miss
Im sorry but how he explains how he wanted to stay at city but they didnt want him is enough to make you cry. Sounds like he was so grateful they gave him the opportunity he wanted to pay them back but they werent interested. Glad he came to chelsea and showed us how happy he was we had faith in him
Great video, thanks really enjoyed it. But as a Chelsea supporter since 1967 i do have to pull you up on a few things. Palmer was the first Chelsea player in the Premier League era to debut with over 20 goals, not the first in Chelsea history as you stated. Jimmy Greaves scored 22 goals on his debut season in 1957- 58. Also Jimmy Greaves also scored multiple hat tricks and 4 goal tallies in his first season just like Palmer.
@@mr_j9207 sorry lol I was kinda busy making the comment so I was kinda brain dead. But Ped said that Hazard was the only attacking player in the past 15 years at Chelsea who had elevated his game while there, which... well, it isn't true. So from 2009 onwards, I can think of Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Willian, Giroud, Pedro & Diego Costa. If it's just strikers, probably JUST Diego Costa.
Can the media allow this guy rest. please. This how the likes of Dele Ali, Jesse lingard, Mason Mount and co when down the shadow. Perhaps English player hardly hit the ceiling for the same reason obviously.
