This weekend, millions of women in the US have lost the constitutional right to an abortion, after the Supreme Court overturned its 50-year-old Roe v Wade decision. Individual states are now able to ban the procedure again, and half of the US States now expected to introduce new restrictions or bans. Coleen, Kaye, Katie and Denise reflect on this historic judgement, and what it will mean for millions of women across America.
Coleen and Denise share their deeply personal abortion stories, and Katie feels that for many people this is a religious issue - but ultimately believes that you can still be pro-life without having to change the law.

Abortion is not illegal in America. Why can’t people do their research. Each state gets a chance to vote. Ohio voted to keep abortion without limits. Stop misinformation

“After America make abortion illegal” My gosh this might be the most dishonest show out there. All did was overturn the unconstitutional roe vs wayde case which stated that abortion was a constitutional right. It clearly isn’t if you’ve read the constitution. Now states can decide their own laws. Abortion is not illegal in the USA.

Why is abortion not talked about openly ? Because it is a heinous act that kills a human being. It is a sad and cruel society that kills its own children. Few mothers regret the pregnancy and birth of their children but how many regret and are scarred by abortion.

I talk openly about my abortion. I got pregnant while on the Depo Provera shot, apparently it's rare to get pregnant on that birth control but it does happen. I had major knee surgery and was on large amounts of pain medication after breaking my knee cap. I don't regret or feel shame about my decision. Just because it wouldn't be your decision doesn't make it invalid. I had my tubes tied shortly after. Best decision I ever made.

Try telling that to the people with no income or job and no meals.. Try telling that to the over 100,000 people living on the streets in Britain today. Try telling that to mums and dads who have no money for hot meals for their children. Or pensioners who cannot either eat or heat there homes.. You need to wake up sunshine.
