I met (and kissed) her when I was a teenager before the Nolan Sisters were really famous, and again when she played in Blood Brothers, then watched her in The Bill. Hugely talented - she entertained millions for years. There's no more suffering for her now. Remember her fondly and with a smile.
There are no words to express how sad I feel about what has happened to Bernie. I have been a Nolans fan for many years and have always admired Bernie and she has always been my favourite Nolan sister. Coleen did her proud in this interview and my thoughts go out to all the Nolan family at this very dark time. I will always remember Bernie as a beautiful, talented person who had a very special gift that I thank god she shared with the world. Bernie, you are a true inspiration to many people.

I have just been listening to the Nolan's massive hit song and came on here to look up on when Bernie passed away. She was great, very talented and such a lovely lady. Bernie was an excellent singer and a good actress as she showed in The Bill and on the stage. On another note, i have been watching Ben and Cat as the new presenters and it makes me realise just how great Phil and Holly were together.

Its really crazy given all the money put into research that we still cannot cure this disease. 52 is way too young to die. I hope the remaining sisters live a long and happy life. RIP Bernie
Beautiful lady inside and out and what a fantastic voice very missed .i had breast cancer in 2010 , ladies if your reading this there are many forms of breast cancer my breast was getting smaller my mom had a inverted nipple my auntie had scabs / rash so please anything at all different go see your gp it’s not just lumps.

I am so sorry I watch celebs on television some I dont like some I really like but BERNIE NOLAN I really really and I mean this I liked her so much I would watch anything she was in. My sister had this and it spread to her brain etc. Hers also wasn't oestrogen receptive and spread very quickly after her breast was removed. My mum had breast cancer twice, 30 years apart, but hers was oestrogen receptive. It did kill her the second time but she was an old lady by then and couldn't cope with chemotherapy she had it once but said never again. It wouldn't cure it anyway she was told.
I Think you are so right. Some thing is going on, cancer seems to be spreading rapidly. My dad died last June with cancer it's such a horrible illness there must be a cure now surely.
It's very strange but many, atleast all the people I've heard of, including relations and friends who get cancer somehow get some inner strength when told it was terminal. It's like... does the fear somehow extinguish because you just have to face it? An inner strength just overcomes them.
Bernie with her Siblings are Working Class Beautiful Girls from Next Door who became National Treasures My generation as today when Bernie began " Im in the Mood for Dancing " flooded dance floors every girl and women of all ages became a Nolan sibling ,would sing ,dance always raised big smiles .Their music goes hand in hand with my special memories loved ones now no longer here at Butlins family Holiday or family parties living room coffee table ,sofas were pushed aside to create dance floor .Every Nolan Sisters interviews always had you laugh with sibling banter Just know when performed dream gig Top of Pops with sick evil cigar munching predator Savile for sure Bernie & Sisters would've watched creep like a Hawk around baby sister Coleen No doubt didn't even have say nothing just gave long just you dare glare & claw ,tear you apart protection of Baby Sister Coleen went before career ,fame & fortune. Girls earned their crafts stripes ,earned our respect by coming up through tough ,tough Working man's Social Clubs were chairs ,tables & WMD choice old toughened glass ashtrays all airborne with father shouting from side Keep Singing (were learned Choreography side stepping and ducking ) Girls sounded amazing live Bernie has strong voice & Sisters amazing Harmonies days before voice filtering wizardry . Another interview with Anne speaks how has fallen out & were working on issues but when Cancer hit every problem was forgotten Sisters were with Bernie to the end .That's a strong family all families call out it's when tragedy strikes strong bond is reunited Parents would've been proud to know how Sisters without doubt united for one of their own . nice dribbling rant, but would you inform me when you wish to discuss the topic i posted, i never mentioned cures, i said i dont believe it's a naturally occurring disease. implying that it is man made or being kept around on purpose. i get the feeling you agree but would do well to read what i write properly if you are going to respond.
