Looks like it made quite a bit of difference in torque. A little more speed and Lonnie could clear that driveway! Before anything i stick a ziptie in the governor spring, cut the head off of one and put it on another. It took the baja warrior from 22mph to 33mph.

You can move holes on the governer arm with the spring going to the carb and raise your rpm as well up to 4800rpm is max ive seen someone get one to go too

I got this RPM with just cutting a few coils out of the return spring. Nice part of cutting the spring is you can lower the RPM back down by adjusting the screw back in.

@@Odin31b I personally dont run them anymore. I have a engine with one still together and working in the engine if I have the time I will. It's more or so one of those things you have to play with yourself. Each engine will be set up slightly different where the arm with the spring to the arm off of the gov shaft that runs through the block pushing on the gear to add rotating mass to slow the crankshaft up when the arms on the gear fly outward and some more things I cant personally think of at the moment. Sorry buddy it's been a fairly long day at work today. Anyways you can also use a stiffer spring to change or adjust it. If you remove the governor and dont want to use a throttle stop screw on the OEM throttle setup you can play with the timing and jetting to adjust the max rpm it will go under load. Without load will be different it typically when free revving it will go to a much much higher rpm.

We installed the performance kit today, however everything didn’t go as planned. The jet in the carb wasn’t slotted and the carb screw couldn’t be backed out. I’m guessing these items are intentional due to strict California smog laws where the bike was bought. Other than that, the kit was great and the bike has that straight pipe Harley cackle to it now. Your video definitely helped.

I put a predator and tav-34 torque converter on a CT200U-EX and my Baja warrior MB200. It is by far the best setup, and I can creep up steep hills with tons of torque or do 45 down the road. Getting the tav34 to fit on the 200U-EX required cutting/welding of the frame to install without engine mount risers though.

These engines have a small 5/8" output shaft. Thats why we said in the video that go power sports is developing one for it.

Have you seen the 5/8 to 3/4 shaft adapters on ebay? Theyre like 10 bucks. And the plate does have to be trimmed some to fit the frame.

The only thing about that is the key is made in the drive pulley on a cvt. It wouldn't be long enough to fully go into the crank shaft

Riding in the mud I have a fix for that mr. Red beard. I watched all of that. Add it's cuz of the space between the tires. So the new bike is awesome and everything but it's too short. You need to have the calm and red one with the front end that the new Coleman as the hydraulic shocks. And there you go. I think that's what I'm going to do eventually

I weigh about 180 and mine goes up hills fine. It’s actually pretty darn fast at it. I think your exceeding the weight limit by about 50 pounds. Not trying to sound mean by that so don’t take it the wrong way. I would like to get mine up to about 30mph if I could. I don’t want to add any parts though. But for now it’s still a blast to ride.

BackYard Karts the point of a springer seat is for comfort on a bike with no suspension. The springs under the seat become suspension for youe body, as to not destroy your back on hard bumps

I agree Kelly Best. When my EX was slow the lack of rear suspension wasn't so bad, now it can be downright brutal. It looks like it would be fairly easy to add springs under the stock seat.

So I'm about your size & I have not bought this bike at tractor supply yet because it says the weight limit is 200 lbs! lol You are all up on that thing & seem to be over the listed limit. I got this mini bike for my kids for Christmas and after 3 days of light use the carburetor is leaking fuel at a pretty good rate. I’ve taken the carburetor apart fully and cleaned it, put it all back properly and now it’s leaking again after less than 24 hours. Any suggestions?

Oh and I have to ask you something, have you ever tried a 3D manual clutch on a mini bike,go kart if not you should try one out it works just like a motorcycle clutch and mounts to a predator but the only catch is it doesn't shift gears. But I think you would like it. Anyway another awesome video keep up the great work!

Nick H i changed my Baja warrior 200cc trail bike to a belt drive and I turned the governor all the way up and it made it twice as fast I topped out at 65/70 I put blinkers on it and I wrote the numbers on the goose neck down went to the secretary of state and I got a moped sticker for it and I got it street legal so I could go riding with my cousin on his Kawasaki ninja 250 and a friend of ours on his Honda grom 125

I think I May have mixed up the original and upgrade emulsion tubes. Does the upgraded one have the larger orifices?

Update- I called gopowersports and they will pull a stock carb and compare the two. I think that's the only way to tell and I am past that since I already mixed them up. LOL. Thanks again.

Just in case someone is doing a google search in 2032 or something.. The upgraded emulsion tube has 5 holes on both sides, the stock predator emulsion tube has 6 on one side, 5 on the other. Turns out I did get the upgraded one in the carb the first time. It runs good!

i have the coleman ex and not only was my screw welded but the carb had a one way jet that i could not even get out with a drill. now the bike wont idle and its sputters at full throttle(pretty sure its because i couldnt install the supplied jet). any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Greg I have a Mega Moto 212 when I decided on a mini bike I wanted the Monster Moto MM-212 but they were sold out. So I bought the 100. Cheaper Mega Moto and as you already know they went outta business. It’s a shame 100 more would of gotten a front suspension Headlight and front and rear disc brakes and I think a CVT not sure. Anyway I was looking online and my forks from top tree to wheel bolt holes is 24” the 33mm forks are 630mm 25” so that’s fine but the Triple Trees are 6.29” from mount to mount I need 9.3/8” between forks. I’ve looked about everywhere and can’t find wider trees for the forks. I did install 2 60 watt over under LED lights with a Talentcell battery in the rear ammo box 6,000mah A/C 12,000 mah D/C. Can you direct me to where I can find the complete fork set for my Mega Moto so I can install a Swing arm and rear shocks. Remember the fork holes have to be 9.7/8 to 10” to work? Thanks

Yeah nice soft and supple tires, problem is getting giant mesquite thorns and whatnot in em, as with any minibike, but these things have some get to them, if you're under the 200lb capacity they have that is, more than that and they do bog pretty bad uphill

Hey red beards garage. Is there anyway I could get ahold of you guys for troubleshooting. I believe my predator motor on my Coleman ct200u ex is off on its timing. Need help

Hey man. Great vid. It appears my jett, 5:48 has a screw that can't be backed out. Like a one direction screw. How do I get it out? Also, my kit that ordered did not come with the new emulsion tube. Thanks.

You don't need the emulsion tube and its really hard to get that jet out. I will try and do a video on it soon sir

Red Beard's Garage I have a 2019 model. The screw on the Jett is shaved off so you can back it out with a screwdriver. Also the throttle screw is soldered on so you can’t adjust it either. I grinded the screw off but can’t get the jet out.
