My shave of the day: PAA Quantum safety razor using the Omega plate, Tiger Platinum DE Blade (4nd use), HC&C Green Hornet shaving brush with a G8 Frank knot, Mogul shave soap by HC&C and Rich, 3 passes and a few pick-ups, Thayers Unscented witch hazel, Macduffs Morning Ritual After Shave splash, Finished it off with Nivea After shave balm.

Hey Paul! Great shave! I have a numerous amount of those Colgate Mug and Cup soaps! After all these decades, the lather and performance are still there! It's one that will rival today's artisan soaps. It's like vintage Williams performance wise. Nice to see the Parker Variant. It's a good, quality razor. Thanks as always for the video content! We got same rain Wednesday afternoon. There was no rain in forecast for 8-days. Feather razor, Van der Hagen blade, Dscosmetics black boar, Mondail Tabacco verde shave soap. Works for me.👌

Morning Paul, from Phoeniz, Arizona. Quite warm here in the SW United States. I own two Parker razors, The Parker non-adjustable and the Variant Slant, both are mild razors IMO. Back in the day, if you wanted to brush lather the only soap available was Palmolive. Colgate. and Williams hard pucks. I mostly used Colgate because it was always on sale, $.15 each. I only had one razor back then and one brush, Gillette Slim Adjustable and a bushy badger. Have a safe week and stay healthy.

Nice open Paul, lovely flowers. Gorgeous brush, looks like it will last! Also that Colgate is one that wish I could locate. For me I have been using a WH or HW wood razor bought at Planète Rasoir in Paris France, getting rid of my blades that have two or three uses. Most are not the best, they are ok. I am a daily so it takes a lot of caution for my neck. Had a funny dry hack cough so I haven't posted much on the page this week. I'm in my summer of soaps, saving for a motor bike and changing jobs. I can't spend much yet for new razors, I only have about 9 and may hold at 12 when I get a few more. Enjoy your summer in the UK. And colgate was one of the best. Used it for years. Its a soap you could use old spice, or brut or one of the many after shaves from way back. Very nice 👍

La maquinilla Parker es una fe mis preferidas debido a su mango largo y ergonómia. El jabón de afeitar Colgate es difícil de adquirir acá en América del Sur. Es un jabon minimalista y antiguo...reliquia pura ..

Idea for one of the other channels. Since you often mention your father, show us the house and the local pub. You could work it into your weekend visits to interesting places. That's assuming that you grew up in N. Wales. Just a thought; not necessarily a good one. Cheers!

Paul, another great video - many thanks. Question: Do you ever feel that any balm you use as a last step is conflicting with your aftershave? I ask as I am trying to get odorless balm of sorts and am not entirely satisfied. I know you've mentioned in the past you have used something with a light odor (maybe Nivea for Men) that dissipates quickly and does not conflict. Many thanks, again, sir.
