Part 2: Colin realizing he's marrying Lady Whistledown.

Eloise saying that Penelope wanting to take a husband was “so unlike her” shows how much their friendship was always centred around Eloise and what she thought and wanted with Pen just as a listener but it not being reciprocated. Because Penelope very clearly stated from the first season to episode that she wanted to marry and find love but Eloise only thinks of herself. If they are to become friends again Eloise has to learn how to be less selfish

I died when she played the "I could die tomorrow" card just so he kisses her, Penélope can be very dramatic 😂😂

Mom’s aren’t always right, almost never tbh!! But Violet knows how to read her children and respect them, even when she is wrong she makes it right, tries to understand them, let them breathe, and support them… that’s a mom ❤

"the rake of the season" FR COLIN WAS SUCH A MANWHORE IN THE FIRST 2 EPISODES LIKE I WAS DYING 😭

i love that they didn't change her personality with the glow up. her trying to flirt is so relatable. hopeless romantic but no rizz😂

Also right after Colin spoke with her in the tent ,the next clip of him is eating not only cake , but the exact kind Pen just bought.

The disappointment on Colin’s face after Pen asked him to kiss her then says “it doesn’t have to mean anything.” Boy, you got it bad 😭

Whenever I see Colin watching Penelope speak/dance with literally anyone else all I can think of is ‘jealousy, jealousy’ haha I love it, love them so much so far and can’t wait for part two

Small note I just realized about Pen/Debling dancing. Debling is quite literally, the ONLY other person in the entire series to dance with Pen other than Colin. I'm pretty Colin staring at them dancing is him being very aware of that is literally dying on the inside that he use to be the only person she danced with, and now that is fading away (and its a bigger change from the books that he actively wants to dance with her rather than being reluctant).

THEY👏HAD👏A👏MEET👏CUTE. In lara jean's qualifications, they will end up together.

The scene of them under the tree is so so adorable. They are so awkward and I love it!

I gotta say, I really enjoyed how Penelope’s brother in laws seemed to be genuinely rooting for her and kind. ☺️

My biggest fear is when he says he’s not ashamed of Penelope but what about Whistledown 😭 like I mean ultimately in RMB he supports her, but Pen went through a brief time of he’s ashamed of me 😭😭

Does anyone realise, Penelope (from Odyssey) waited for 20 years for Odysseus' return, fooled a room full of suitors with her schemings. Penelope, thus for her nature also means "the one who waits".... Penelope Featherington is equally crafty and patient and if the debut is held at her 18th year, she is 20 now.... 😮

Finally! I love watching Polin edits. Have not moved on yet from the carriage scene 😭💕

They wrote this season so well. At the end of season 2, I was really unhappy with Peneloppe and how she treated Eloise. But now, after seeing how guilty she feels and how graciously she handles the aftermath of all that has happened, I'm really rooting for her. I hope her and Eloise become friends again. Friendship and true love are equally important.

I think Colin meant it when he said he never dream of courting Penelope Featherington. He rather dream of kissing her and then marry her❤

I haven’t watched Bridgerton. I just saw a thread about these two on Twitter and decided to read the whole thing. I am now going to watch bridgerton. Not once have I ever seen a female lead who looks like me in a romance. Penelope looks like me. It makes me so happy

I do love that they switched one or two of the lines from the book in the carriage. Instead of Penelope asking if the driver could keep going, it was rather nice and fun to hear Colin say it. I think in the book Colin mentioned the possibility of them not being seen and that was moved to Penelope, it felt as if there was a small difference in the dynamic in the carriage.

Seeing so many people hate on this season already and lack of chemistry but they are so cute and there is so much chemistry like I just don't get it. Also this season isn't even done yet! we have no clue what is to come! I just love them and how sweet their story is

Unpopular opinion but her mother isnt all that bad. I think her approach to Penelope trying to gain a husband was off but then for the time the show is set it was basically uncalled for. I feel like she was doing her best to make Penelope feel comfort in a very possible future

when he asked whether debling proposed, I found it so hot and no one saw it that way, I feel seen now lol

Dude the way he was literally wildin around town with all these different women…it felt so different than the sweet, simple Colin from the previous seasons. Then again, I suppose that is the point. His sudden change in character shows that he is being less authentic to himself and is seeking to fill a void in his life…perhaps a void that could be (is) filled by Penelope. Then again, I haven’t read the books. I don’t know his character very well. To me, it didn’t feel like Pen and Colin had a genuine moment of connection until like the carriage scene (after they got down and dirty) and started laughing together. IDK maybe that is just me 😭 The sexual and romantic tension was definitely there. But imo it felt less steamy or frequent than in previous seasons of Bridgerton. But I know that will surely be remedied when the next part comes out. I loved watching this season so far. After watching this, I feel the need to watch it again to truly absorb everything going on….you know, for science

The Colin in the first 2 episodes = 🥵 I think all the bridgerton brothers have that rake streak gene within them until they find their true love. I love how Violet know all her kids so well, every season she will knock some sense into them before they realise their feelings. 🤭

I was disappointed. He didn't grovel enough and there was no build up, not enough tension.. I didn't feel his love the way we felt anthony's 😭

From the moment they shake hands after Colin apologizes to Penelope, she reels him in. Unknowingly. Coming back from his tour he was still in his ‘rake behavior’. But with her Charme (which really just worked on him & later on Lord Debling), her warmth & sincerity, he couldn’t resist anymore. He tried to hold back, when he hurt his hand on the broken glass, avoiding be touched by her. But the more her focus led away from him, the more he became aware how much she means to him.
