@thalie67 No, Ben is not cold or fake. Ben was reaching, for the mike to pull it off, I mean, I don't expect him, to smile when he removes his mike. No, he was removing his mike and I think he must have gotten irritated, cause' the lady was asking stupid questions and you can also read from Firth's face that he was getting irritated.
Colin Firth's is a classic and raw-talented (a very amazing, exquisite, real and charming) actor. Ben Barnes is getting there and he's a dark horse contender and a big threat for big movie roles.
I think Colin's brilliance in portraying his characters work to his disadvantage often as they linger in people's minds. Classic example the case of this interviewer who can't help herself mentioning Mama Mua, Genoa, etc. Yes she is obviously a CF fan but this is true in a lot of cases. Colin plays his roles so well it is hard for people to forget. I agree he looks not very pleased with this interviewer :-((
haha, sure they have great chemistry and they are really hilarious together, but I also kind of feel like they don't like the interviewer. Especially not Colin, might be because the woman seems to be one of the biggest firth fangirls ever!

wow. yeah I noticed that too. Weird. Well you know. we never really know about how people are in the entertainment world. We just know the cool and awesome face they display for the camera. But for we know he was just going back to normal face after the interview was over. --why would someone give you thumbs down just for wondering. wasnt like you were saying he is shite. :/
@Strangebird12: Yes, I too, took note of Mr. Firth talking about that interaction with his then future in laws. He has admitted that he never felt accepted by them until he won the award in Venice recently. Truthfully, though I CAN understand where his wife's family is coming from. I do not think they are bad people; butvwere very concerned about their daughter's security with him. Very interesting.
