I know I’m a little dramatic and also a huge true crime fan but this series was ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING. I cannot believe how amazing this was. I sobbed at the end which shocked me. I knew I was loving the series and how on point they all were portraying each character and nuances, but I didn’t expect to feel that way at the end. Michael is fascinating. It was strange how much I found myself hating him but also rooting for him. Fantastic. He did such a brilliant job. They all did. Toni Collette is WONDERFUL.

I like Colin Firth even more as he is now at 62 with his silver hair....

i watched the staircase documentary a couple times and there is something so bizarre about the way micheal pederson behaves - from the way he talks to his body language. it has always unsettled me and i think colin does a great job of portraying him.

I've only watched the first episode last night. I know there was another TV drama made about this years ago. The point of the documentary I saw was when the great weight of the state decides you are guilty and comes down on you, it is difficult to prove otherwise. It was a point that left a lasting impression on me. I've also read articles about the Owl, and certainly the initial markings on the body make me assume that is where we are headed with this. I will find out after I watch all the episodes. I found the documentary fascinating.

If you watch the first few episodes of the ten-part French documentary regarding this case, all of that blood on the wall and on the floor pretty much makes it difficult to believe that Mrs. Peterson’s demise was the result of an accidental fall.
