It's such a shame how they just sort of fell apart so quickly. Colin could never quite gain back that credibility and influence, which is sad. But the guys sure helped make the 80s a great time for music, love them for that.
lol...I just watched this video and laughed at 3:12 when Colin pointed at Greg and said: " I know that he's not normal." xD Then I went to the comments and whom did I find? :D PS: Ups...as I just noticed, I watched this vid already 4 years ago...the comments don't lie. :-)
@@charlieranger4598 Hi there! So,the video I had in mind was called "Men at Work Overkill/Down Under Live Brazilian TV with Domingao do Faustao 1996" or words to that effect. The host is talking loudly in Portuguese WHILE THE GUYS ARE SINGING!!It's hard to tell what Greg is thinking because he has his dark glasses on,but C olin's facial expressions are just hilarious! You will probably like the Brazilian dancing girls in the background,too!😎P.S.:Yes,I loved that interview you mentioned,too...but it was much too short!!
Senlac1066 Now he has a californian accent...somehow. But I'm not sure. I think he is able to change his accents and that's it. He told about it in an interwiev, but I don't remember any longer. But the only important thing ist, he is awesome. His voice and guitar skills are fucking awesome. Unfortunately Men at Work split up so early. Shit happens...I have the Business as usual and the Cargo Records, and that's really important. ;)
He was putting the Aussie accent on, he did so when he got to Australia to avoid being bullied, for fear of sounding different. I heard Hay say this in an interview. He did a bloody good job too.
