Good signing, but the Jets lost a lot of talent today and a few days ago with the buyout of Schmidt. His production is down, but he's a great guy in the locker room. Hope Jets land some game changers and finally start bringing in their prospects
When we signed him he was getting reps with Samberg. Then they were both off the roster for a week. I thought they were practicing to get for chemistry. Then miller barely ever got a look. Couldn’t figure out why we bothered paying for a guy we never used.
I was surprised Kahkonen/Chevy being like Dubas bringing Comrie back liking his guys. I kind of wish Jets would move out stanley/Pionk sign Hamonic. I would have rather had Reimer or Dreidger. Tyson Barrie is another guy WHL guy can carry puck up ice. Or as depth 2 guys from Thunder Bay Bortuzzo/Staal. Nashville,Chicago,Utah all got better the jets if don't make significant moves. If trade Mcgroarty,Lucius, iafallo,Pionk,Stanley,Ehlers,Perfetti if something big. Could be fighting for playoff spot/be tighter this season. Dallas,Colorado arnt going anywhere.
If this guy provides us with something like Morrisey - demelo Samberg - heinola Miller - camp surprise or another signing Then I’m Good with it obviously the lines above is hoping for a pionk trade so maybe that’s where millers partner can come from and praying for the end of the Logan Stanley era
Morrisey- Demelo Samberg - Salomonsson Heinola - Miller Each pair is r/l if both rookies make the roster gives them an exp partner Stanley 7th Pionk hopefully gets moved
Which one of those guys is fighting again? We keep just moving shells around hoping for different result. We have zero toughness. Like the salmonsson line up though if that’s what we are stuck with 👍🏾
@@fknloaded2162 out of our 26 fights did Dillion take 6 of them absolutely , Lowry also fought 6 times , Scheifele fought a couple when he had to , I agree with Stanley and Dillion gone majority of the fights are gone but Barron has answered the bell a couple times last year and maybe whoever we trade pionk or ehlers for another player could come back and fill that gritty tough need , I do agree with your point though some toughness would benefit the team for sure
@@jassnathan I didn’t go looking for the fight stats but watching every game it’s obvious we need grit. Everyone dogs on poink but he at least throws his body around from time to time. Not saying he is worth the money just pointing out how little meanness we have. Don’t want to see the goal scorers dropping the gloves much more unless the get fighting lessons 🥊
@@sameold5050 I grew up there too. Wasn’t all bad. Yes downtown and the north end were always dodgy but there’s worse places. We moved to Calgary 25 years ago when I was 25. I still consider myself a Winnipegger. Always will
@@Hoovie9596 You're fortunate. I think the Calgary area is the best place to live in Canada. Manitoba has had a net migration of people to other provinces for over half a century. I hope to be out of here soon after I retire. It's an undesirable place to live.
