I met Colin's parents once when they came into my store in Vancouver, and they are SO SCOTTISH. It was hard not to carry on about how adorable they were.
@Scott Whatever I have an inkling that his "accent" is a fake one, and that one of a genious! :) A correct accent is not as fun, it's cool, but not as _fun_ :)
theextremefire Playing the role of Captain Buzzkill, and because I have this sort of time on my hands, you know he didn't actually hit 17 words/sentence?
"Oh, I know you want a boyfriend and I will do what I can for you if you actually want one yeah" (22) "Oh, I know many a man who would like to marry you cause you are the most beautiful woman in this side of mexico I oh I"(27) "Oh, it is just a little thing I picked up when I was born in Scotland and moved over here to Mexico just so that I can learn stuff"(29) @NickFrmCA1 you might have this sort of time to count it but do you have the sort of time to put it in a comment to?
For those commenting about Colin's accent even though he was born in Scotland, you seem to be forgetting this is a comedy show. He's purposely over-exaggerating and "mocking" the stereotypical accent North American's are used to being portrayed. Yes, he's from Scotland, no he didn't have the accent .. his family moved before he had a chance to actually pick up the accent. He now has an American/Canadian accent, because that's were he was raised.
Colin is the man! What's even more funny is that he is Scottish-Canadian and actually lived in Scotland till he was 11,thus making the over the top accent even more ridiculous!
greg proops aussie impression is when we put on that accent for foreigners, just fir kicks, because thats how people think we speak. we don't speak like that haha
i've watched this video so many times and i've only just realized that marnie probably meant that she was born/grew up in new york but now lives in north carolina. i was just so focused on colin's amazing accent work
I wish I could accept those points, just as it would mean I'm from Scotland...I'd have to go back a few generations to get those points... It's a shame that I cannae.
