Ive never been a fan or supporter of Colin and 9xs out of 10 I totally disagree with his takes. Yet for some reason I like the show. Nonetheless…..after really thinking about it, I see where he’s coming from with this Washington take. Where it’s outrageous is picking them to win the division. But playoffs isn’t out of the cards. 1. That 6 new team thing is a fact. 2. The roster wasn’t bad, new ownership change right before the season, a bad oline, and decent qb with trades in middle of the year that kinda showed a change of direction all played a good part of the season’s failure. 3. Quinn is a solid hire. Defense won’t be a problem and he knows the division. 4. And probably most importantly….they have the number two pick and the most cap space in the offseason. So if they hit on a good qb and get some good free agents they could make a huge leap. The roster isn’t far off. A good qb and solid oline additions could change them quickly. But again….where his take is goofy is picking them to win the division with cowboys and eagles in there. But if they hit on a qb and get good free agents(especially oline), maybe a couple defensive moves too then it’s not impossible by any means.

@Marcus0Valdez Philly was good most of the year it was just the last 5 or so games they didn't but to dismiss them like they are gonna look like this again is foolish I refuse to believe the last 5 to 6 games is what Philly is they are much better than they showed you can believe Howie is gonna bring in more talent and the current talent will get better Jalen will improve big time the new look coaches is a start but the draft and free agency will help as well.

Texans have the 3rd most cap space in the league, have 5 picks in the top 4 rounds, and all their best players are under 25, there's nothing to suggest they'll be a worse team next year.

Stroud is only 22 yrs old then you have WA Jr., Stingley, Nico, Tank, Pitre, T'o'to'to, and Christian Harris. All of them in the 22-24 range with all of them contributing at a high level while still not in their primes yet.

We will see what happens, but if you think the colts aren't a better team with Richardson playing your being disingenuous. Can he stay healthy? Seems unlikely, but how many qbs were hurt this last year? Anyone of them can get hurt. Including shroud, so how well does Houston do with an injured shroud? Enough of the hypotheticals. What we know as facts is Richardson made big plays when he was playing. With his legs, and arm. He has a great offensive coach. The have a lot of cap space even if they resign all their free agents. The colts look like they should be the best team in this division at this point, and it's not really much of an argument. What each team adds before the next season will play huge, so only time will tell.

@gunsarefun4618….as a browns fan from Cleveland, I’m honestly not sure about them this year. I don’t like the Ken Dorsey hire at all. That’s me though. Losing bill calahan which one could argue was the best coach on staff is going to be a ROUGH loss. I was always a Deshaun fan but if he was still trying to knock off rust, well now he’s gotta knock it off more considering he never knocked it off before he got hurt. This is Chubb’s second injury on the same knee. So who knows how he’s going to come back. Browns never do good since they came back in 99 coming off of a good season and high expectations. So idk. Burrow should be healthy too, so they will make it harder. I think this is way too early to make these predictions considering we don’t know what these teams are going to look like then. Cause I mean….if Pitt adds a good qb then that’s not going to be good for anyone in the division. So yeah I’m not sure. I’m not saying browns won’t make it. But I wouldn’t argue with Colin as of now. But I do think he’s a browns hater.

Its not insane to think they will turn things around, especially in their secondary. Kendall Fuller was the 4th ranked CB in the NFL last year and the year before that. If they re-sign him and plug the leak on the other side they will be fine. They brought Dan Quinn and Joe Whitt Jr who had the Dallas defense leading the NFL in turnovers multiple years in a row, and don't forget Jason Simmons, the defensive pass coordinator of the Raiders last year had those boys balling out. They were so good they beat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs without scoring a single offensive touchdown. He's now with Washington. If there's any question marks for Washington's defense next year, its who are their pass rushers going to be and who's going to be playing LB?

Is it great or just interesting? Lots of bad football last year. Lots of bad games. Add the officiating, rules, and commercials and it's often unwatchable. I've stopped watching the pregame shows, never watched the games on Prime, and even on Sunday night I sometimes just watched the highlights on RU-vid. One of the better playoff games was only on a streaming service. They thought they were building a brand and making money. They taught me the NFL just doesn't matter that much. And I liked Taylor Swift. While I watch it, I watch much less of it.

We have new ownership, GM from the 49ers and assistant GM from the Lions who banged out the drafts last couple of years, 2nd overall pick, over 100m in cap, 5 picks inside the 100 and a brand new coaching tree that has HCs at skill positions and the staff has 18 SB rings combined. We also have at least one coordinator from all 3 East divisions so we have insider information and depleted their talent pool. It’s a new day in Washington and the division should be scared.

Don't bet your house. During the Super Bowl, the 49ers mostly contained Mahomes. And Hurts isn't Mahomes. Hurts is too short. He can't play from under center which benefits the run game, especially with motion. And he can't read a defense - one reason they used the shotgun is to buy him time. Which might work if they could pick up the blitz or had a hot read - they can't and they don't. If the league has figured out Hurts, and there's evidence they have, the Eagles are in deep trouble. Colin said you can win a SB with an expensive great QB or a good inexpensive QB. But you can’t win with an expensive good QB. I think Colin is right. At $455 million Hurts is clearly expensive. He may be good, but I doubt he's great. Add injuries, a bad defense, two new coordinators and a mediocre head coache? The Eagles are probably in trouble.

Commanders is definitely a bold pick I do see that being possible but a lot has to go right, I agree I think rams pull ahead of the niners, I still like the ravens in the north i think Cincinnati is being a little overrated even with a healthy burrow. As long as lamar is healthy I think the ravens still have the north. Colts is tough bc idk what Anthony Richardson will look like. If he’s good I definitely think the colts will be really scary.

@@Ep1cRainbow4-13. Have you seen their new hires? That coaching staff is stacked in Washington right now and they have $84M-$100M cap space. GM Adam Peters was just hired from the 49ers and he’s a three time Super Bowl champion that knows how to build championship teams. That defense is gonna be way better next season also

How are you gonna say you got the best QBs in and not have CJ Stroud making the playoffs? CJ Stroud just had a better season than Trevor Lawrence has ever had as a rookie nor is the Jags roster even really that much better than the Texans if at all. This reeks of a where Colin was wrong lmao

Go Pack Go!!! It’ll be a dogfight for the Division Championship with the Lions, but the Pack has more WR’s than the Lions have DB’s… As a matter of fact, the Packers have more talent at WR than MOST teams in the NFL have talent at DB’s. Best of luck trying to defend the Packers!

Houston missing the playoffs? Don’t make me laugh, Colin Cowherd. Trevor Lawrence got blown out the first time he faced CJ Stroud, who will get help this new season. I get the Texans have a tough schedule and AR15 comes back, but Houston is too tough to be out of the playoff discussion. They embarrassed the Cleveland Browns in the playoffs.

Get to an NFC Championship game, then you can talk about about him being wrong to doubt the Cowboys. Cowboys haven't earned the trust to be considered an actual contender this century.
