I definitely saw the face. The page came out great. Sometimes it happens where you think 1 way, but the art takes you in a totally different direction! Everyone I’ve heard talk about says that you just have to go with it and trust the process…..I love the way you do use the pages and pieces to make different layouts and images, which makes the pieces even more unique cause you’re not just adding things and calling it good. You put a whole lot of thought into your work.
I saw the face shape, too. It's crazy how sometimes things just appear out of nowhere. I love how you added the white pen to the mountains, but my favorite part is the eyes and how they just seem to belong there!
At first I thought, “bird heads coming up from the mountains", but I like your idea much, much better. I did see the rest of her face but I like thinking that there is just this normal person looking over the mountains at a tiny valley where tiny people live. Remind’s me a little bit of Terry Gilliam (Monty Python’s Flying Circus) animation where quirky things happen. I love quirky and whimsy…it just tickles me. It’s my kind of art. Keep doing your pages like you do. I am in love with the Collage Soup eyes book.
I am obsessed with collage soup too! I don't have the eye spy an eye Book but it's in my cart now!! I definitely see the shape of the face! Love how your page turned out! ❤️❤️
Fabulous page! Love the colors & shapes! Would you mind sharing the glue that works well with Collage Soup books? and the white marker you’re using? I’ve also enjoyed watching your Collage Soup flip thrus. Thanks so much for doing those!
You are very welcome. I will take pictures and add them to the community page when I get home. If I forget shoot me another message/comment to remind me.
I think you could have added 1 bird to each edge and it would have worked out. But no birds is good too. I just ordered my 1st collage soup book - bird need! It looks so fabulous!!!
listen to your gut. What do you see that makes you really excited? Try that. Even if it means playing along and copying somebody else. As long as you don't claim it as your own, you're not hurting. It's how we learn! Just play and enjoy.
