I saw that on the B-roll, but oddly didn't notice it before shooting the video. (Perhaps because I usually wear my DBs unbuttoned, and it doesn't feel uncomfortable). That said, I put on a bit of belly weight since I recieved the suit, so ultimately I am at fault. 😅 Luckily, Collaro put sufficient fabric in the back of the jacket so I can let it out some. I should have mentioned that in an alterions section of the video. Damn I'm rusty.
All hail the Olive suit! such a great piece, for those who don't need to be business formal at work, this is such a great practical option. I work in a construction office and this fits in so well (very dressy still let's face facts) with a culture of hunting, fishing, and hard work. The piece is a little softer in appearance and helps my style fit my environment. Odd jackets and "causal suits" fill up the majority of my week and keeps me from regretting not becoming a lawyer or banker for the sake of the dress options.
I have two suits and two shirts made by Collaro and can't recommend them enough. There customer services is top notch, Travis is extremely helpful. Looking at their new chalk strip fabric and thinking a DB is needed
Overall, a fantastic look! The suit looks like 90' inspired, but still modern. Don't you think that the buttons on the jacket are a bit misplaced? Seem slightly too narrowly sewed for me, maybe a bit too low as well.
I’ve been thinking about getting some trousers from Collaro, however I saw a video from Demetrios Levi saying they were of poor quality and degraded after a while. Was curious what your experience has been.
The drape of the pants is excellent. I’ve been yearning for that from spier mackay. I’m tempted to buy one of those peak lapel suits at 0:58, but afraid it will be too slim even if I select contemp.
Hey, what is the fabric you're mentionning at 2:48? I've never came accross a "high twist olive" fabric on collaro. And if you have some other photos of you wearing this suit on a different lighting, I'd be interested; that's a suit I've been considering for a while!
looks like it's still a tad too tight, it's creasing in the back. Also, don't you think trousers would look better half an inch longer so they'd touch the shoes and leave no visible skin, as it is the contrast breaks the line and makes you look shorter.
@@toobalkain I address the back issue in like three comments here. I put on weight. I plan on having it out. As for the trousers, I don't like them like that. With a little sagging throughout the day, they begin to break too mich. Further, I am not concercerned about being seen as a quarter inch shorter. 😂
Glad to see you back on RU-vid always appreciate your input on classic-style men's wear...however, I do have one question about the Collaro suit jacket from viewing it, in my estimation it appears the back of the jacket is too tight and bunches up in the midsection thanks for sharing!
@@stylishoversixty9459 You are correct. I address this in the comment pinned above. I put on some weight since I bought the suit. It wasn't initially like that. Collaro creates their jackets with fabric in the back, so I am going to have it let out.
