It is definitely tough to get fair deals involving trade at these shows. I just had an idea to get them in person where I can inspect it properly and think it will gem. Ty though! Fomo got me lol

Events typically vary, my locals don’t do nearly as much volume. But for each Collect a Con I do, My goal is typically 5 figures+ or to move a lot of volume. Ofc sometimes it could be offset with purchases though lol.
I think sometimes if the deal not going your way then just walk away 😬 also that 360camera moving all over the place 😂 CGC kinda fall off hard 😂 people only care about PSA and BGS now 😂 which show you going to go next ? 👀

Every vendor video I watch has some type of negative comment about cgc. I happen to like the cgc case better because the black label match’s everything, and it’s nice to see the larger grade number. Also I have some psa 10’s that do not deserve to be 10’s imo. Graders vary too much at psa.
For real. Just buy the card not the grade. Dude is literally there in person and can inspect the card himself. CGC is probably more consistent than PSA with grading, but it has some kinda negative stigma. People are dumb.

CGC is the flipper company. They give higher grades, are cheaper per card plus they cut deals to flippers who grade a lot...they screw over avg joes and prioritize big submitters who cut special deals...fuck them.
I just got it in a trade recently. He showed me a lot of his collection. It probably would have crossed as you suggested. But at least I know it was for his PC
The vendor at 8 minutes mark will not last in the business/hobby. Both of you refer to last sold listing and trade value should be fair, yet the vendor undercut your trade value. It's not " just business " it's how the way he does it, disgusting.
