I’m a woman who lived out in the country as a kid and we only had siblings to play with. So I played cars with my brother. I’ve always loved them and gifted them to the kids in the family and adults as well. Always well received. The boys regardless of the parents thinking “they were too old” for hot wheels loved them‼️ I still but them and have several stashed just in case a kid comes over and is bored . So that they can have a gift and take it home with them. It brings me joy to stand there find cool one and think if I gift them how the person I give them to will also think their cool. 😎🏎🚚🚜🚕🚛🚐🚎🚔🚎🚌. And I’ve also got my own old little fun collection of cars. 😊👍🏼

My brothers, hubby, son and grandsons all Hot Wheel fans......I know my husband has a toy box in our attic that includes Matchbox and Hot Wheels used and played with ...but will be fun to see what he has! I remember that neon orange track my brothers had. My hubby and I have attended many NASCAR events and always received a hot wheel with programs we have those in package. My son saved his Hot Wheels and his sons play with them and have many of their own! Fun to hear history....thank you for sharing 😊kim

My brothers had a loop-de-loop track, and we had a long enough living room to set it up! They had the Wheel-shaped case to store their cars in too! I didn't realize how late they appeared in the 60's, so this was a nostalgic trip to the past, when my brothers would have been 9-14 years old, and even us girls (in high school) had fun watching on the sidelines (we had Barbies!)

My brothers collected (and played with) Hot Wheels in the late 1960s and 70s. They handed them down to my boys who also played with them and my grandsons played with them as well. I'm sure they are in a box somewhere, well used and loved.

As a kid I remember waiting for that Christmas in 1968 to get my first hot wheels. I got a couple cars, a single loop track and the car carrier that was the shape of a tire. Great memories, my son and now my grandson collects hot wheels. Keeping it in the family!

New subscriber here. This video was so timely for me. I’ve been working through a six generation estate sorting and trying to find the values. Just in the past few weeks I’ve started finding the toys, and there’s lots of hot wheels and matchbox. Thank you so much for posting

Older electronics - from the 60's & 70's when 'through hole' technology was the only thing. before PCBs - the green boards used now. especially those related to the space program and misses. circuit board replacement parts for nuclear missiles.

Great video! Going through my sons toys ! Last on just left home! I am going through 1 out of 3 totes/ bins of legos that also have thier hot wheels cars mixed in. So this helps. But i was sorting through them and was bagging them to sell and wow i was bombarded with interest. One lady bought all i had listed and hadn't.. I know i price it under what i should have but she didn't hesitate at my bulk price. So i was looking. To see if you have done a video on legos. The legos i have are over 35 years old. Last added to was the 90s the rest 70s 80s? I am guess. So lots of traditional legos. Obviously very much wanted. I know its popular now the sets but old lego ? It was insane. So hopefully in the furture you do a lego video 😊 anyway thought I'd let you know. Ppl are lego crazy. Especially the older stuff.

Just found your channel today. Wanting to end some arguments with my wife about getting rid of things. I liked the request to hear about what I'm actually holding onto and looking for. I was born in 1970. I have a decent collection of Dungeons and Dragons books, magazines, miniatures etc. With media I've been able to collect everything I could think of that could be found. So what are things like the 1978 original Dungeon Masters Guide, or Player hand book worth? What about old editions of Dungeon magazine?
@66uniqueantiques

Definitely worth some good money because it is still popular today! Tell your wife I'm sorry but don't throw them away

As far as prices,,, They , the vast majority, are not worth as much vas you think....ONCE again this is stereotypical of a collectable , THE early red lines and the varients are what's worth anything .. varients are cars with let's say a pink this or a blue that, WHAT these all have in common is RAREITY,, THE early ones were played with hard and were not yet collected, So, condition and rareity rule.. Beyond These , you will search very hard to find or pay a lot for desirable / artificial rarity/ excellent condition cars and if your extremely lucky you may have a car Worth a few hundred... ...... IT'S another baseball card story with zillions made but Mickey Mantle and the early cards are the only real pricy ones..... OK , NOW, LET ME BE CLEAR,,,, UNDERSTAND THIS, FOR 99 PERCENT OF THEM, THEY WERE EACH MADE IN THE MILLIONS !!!!! WHEN YOU GET INTO THOSE NUMBERS AND WHILE THEY ARE A KNOWN COLLECTABLE THEY'RE NOT WORTH MUCH..... THE MARKET IS OVERFLOWING AND AS I SAID, IT'S JUST ABOUT RARITY
@66uniqueantiques
@66uniqueantiques 3 года назад
I guess we will just agree to disagree. There are plenty of hot wheels worth decent money out there. We deal with collectors on a weekly basis so I feel I have a firm grasp on the market for them
