@@IamBATMAN2024that never happened. The Quattro got outclassed in Group B pretty quickly by the 205 T16 and S4 Stradale The Quattro did great the first and second year though. Not that this car is a Quattro
@@papa_pt In 1986, FIA banned all the Group B cars. Thus, Audi Sports Quattro was killed and it became one of those few cars banned from racing, for really weird reasons. Quattro revolutionized the whole rally game. It was the first AWD rally car that managed to use the AWD system efficiently.
@@IamBATMAN2024 you said it was so good it got banned.. that never happened. The CLASS got banned (not the car) because things got too dangerous for the crowd and spectators. By the end the Quattro was one of the slower group B cars out there I agree w the part about it revolutionizing the game w AWD

That's probably the last car Paul actually completed. So many people make the mistake of sending Paul their Audi's because LLF's videos. I saw your first video and hired Paul to work on my Audi--and have paid him tens of thousands of pounds so far--but my car just sits there collecting dust while Paulius goes on vacation after vacation after vacation. Don't make the same mistake I made, hire someone like LCE Performance.

This car is so awesome. It's my favorite car featured on this channel. What a fantastic purchase! I watched the original video multiple times for inspiration on building mine. I have an 84 4000s quattro (USA). The JT motor stills runs but after letting it sit I have some issues with the injection system.. I will swap the motor for an AAN or 3B. I love the car so much. Some fellow offered me over 9k American for the 4k as sits. Couldn't do it because I can't replace it.. these cars are pure old school drivers cars. And....they look awesome! So glad you now have one!
Audi will be ULEZ exempt from end of February next year, not bad way to get around London and avoid the ULEZ. Exemption is there for cars over 40 years old

I'd also take the cash. With the cost of living at the moment I struggle to keep my Golf GTI daily insured and on the road let alone a R32. I'd rather it go to someone who can afford to run it and enjoy it.
The Audi is cool but not my cup of tea, the B5 is far better looking. I'd probably sell it and buy one of those. The skyline on the other hand wouldn't go anywhere, that's a beauty
Love an 80.. It's absolutely stunning.. Proper!!! Yes the R32 has more to give, but it was already a performance car. The Audi was a luke warm family wagon.. Epic video though.
most under-rated car of its time. i grew up goingto look at these new when it was the 4000 quattro. my dad bought an '86 coupe gt whick was the quattro ur hatch but narrow fenders 2wd. i wanted him to get the 4000cs which is what this car was. these with the wide body ur look are killer too but this one is mental!!! the owner has excellent taste bro . cheers
