Description: After getting a lead for a new fossil location in Virginia, we decided to travel out in search of the old stories that could lead us to a new Carboniferous fossil location! Little did we know that this location would produce an incredible amount of fossils with remarkable preservation! The video of the dig site was cut because we wished to protect the integrity of the formation. This turned out to be a remarkable trip with tons of museum quality specimens. The video also includes a nice segment on the geology of the formation and specimens which were recovered!
