Can probably be explained as then not wanting/needing to animate an extra head if they just reuse Han Solos head where as the PFP is simply a photo thats easy to overlay.
Pretty dope collection so far! I create mods for TCS privately in a regular basis so I’m quite familiar with the playable and unplayable characters. Here are some suggestions and things to note to make the collection more accurate: - EP3 Obi wan does have reddish legs and hip but it matches more with the new “reddish orange” color. Since they haven’t made regular legs with it yet I think the current solution works pretty well. - Endor Luke and Leia actually use their own unique green color that Lego hasn’t made before, but for the collection sand green should be fine. The Endor helmets are way too small though. If there’s something else available you could replace them. - Lando(palace guard) has white arms and tan hips ingame and regular lando uses a full tan cape. - Gamorrean Guard has a sand green torso when you play with “enhanced graphics on“ by default. - Jar Jar’s pants are light grey ingame . - Bossk has black hips ingame. He also uses a different model for his head. - Boss Nass uses a different color for his arms and torso. However, this particular color is used interchangeably with their version of brown. It’s often used ingame for skin color or as a differentiation between multiple brown parts (like with skiff Guard as an example). These are all the things I’ve noticed so far. I will definitely subscribe and follow along this series! Have a great day!
@@Bennymoon129while many of the troops and officers are depicted with Luke’s face, luckily none of them have the eyebrows for it. Literally almost every enemy character used Luke as a template. The palace guard for instance still has Luke’s hair piece and needed tan color in his texture and the tusken raider has Luke’s face mesh and texture for it. They aren’t seen ingame due to the way character “layers” work for each character.
@@imperial_brickzno problem! I’ve remembered something else important: - EP3 Anakin has the same hair color as EP1 Obi Wan ingame, however, the one from the actual sets has “light brown” hair instead of reddish brown. LEGO hasn’t made this hair piece in this color yet so you probably have to search a custom one.
I never really connected the dots I guess, so that makes sense why they have lukes face in their icons, I guess the easiest way to fix the mini figures is to just erase the eyebrows. Another small detail no one really talks about is that due to either a uv or just a texture error, all of the characters in the anakin_jedi folder have mirrored torso prints. It’s easiest to see with ep2 anakin but ep3 and maybe even force ghost anakin have it, making these versions technically different than the official figs
Whenever you do get around to the Custom characters, it would be kind of funny to have one of them be the character shown on the box art, with Vader's helmet and Slave Leia's torso. The other recommendation I would give is maybe two solid black minifigs, to give the silhouette look their profiles have.
I am still trying to get my hands on more complete saga minifigures. I am most worried about the ghost jedi as they would be really hard to find/make versions that look good enough compared to their look in the game.
Wow, you’re gettin there! I wonder how much this costs in total, including all custom figs. I’ve barely started my journey on this collection, HOWEVER I did pick up some SWEET custom icons for each character, the ones that appear on the character select screen 🔥
Obi Wan's legs should be red, not dark orange. Also, what head does your stormtrooper have? Those solid-mouth ones came in the sets with plain yellow or flesh heads but they actually have black heads. Vader has a plain black head too. Also, the Security/Commander battle droids should have their printed heads, and the Commander's torso should be light orange rather than yellow. Unfortunately the torso doesn't exist in that colour but it does exist in regular orange which might work better than yellow?
Yeah I was wondering that too. Also, the Commander should have a light orange torso rather than the yellow one. The part doesn't exist in that colour unfortunately, though it does exist in regular orange which might look better than the yellow.
