GTA 4 actually has most cars spawn in normally and fairly frequently, they also have designated areas where particular models spawn as well. There's only two missable cars - Roman's Cab and the Romero, and maybe the FIB Buffalo might be hard to get. But the DLCs? Those sure can be hard.

Why do you honk when entering a vehicle

If you hold sprint when entering a vehicle, you don't close the door behind you which saves a second or so each time. Shift just also happens to be bound to my horn. Speedrunning muscle memory basically

It's pretty much the exact opposite, you do certain missions and at the end the gangs become hostile and will attack you on sight

So is this technically an any% as you're glitching by death warping? I know you did it in VC too, i guess this is just how you've chosen to do it?

Not sure what you mean exactly? Any% is completing a game with any percentage completion. I'm not completing the game here unless I have to. The ultimate goal is just to collect all the cars by any means necessary (glitches included).
