Today I collected my BMW 1 series! I’ve always wanted one (even when I was like 8 😂) even though they aren’t supercars, they are special to me! It took me about a year or so of my filming stuff and doing other bits but hard work and dedication pays off! 💪🏻

@@BrettBarnesYT look on how to code the bmw using obd tool like obd eleven etc. You could unlock so many features 👍🏼 Also, bmw m sport shadow edition is my dream car, insurance is the main issue at age 18 😢😢😢 Keep up the content 👍🏼 German's strictly 💥

You've had it for a while now but I've watched your videos about the BMW 1 series as I was unsure of whether to buy it or an Audi A1 - I went for this one, also in white, and I can't wait to pick it up. This has made me more excited, less hesitant! As an aside the reactions of your family/gf are sweet, good to have them to remember! When people are so happy for someone, it's an indicator they're a good person!

Good choice and congratz dude, I have the 120d -16 model, its my second car and I love it. Fyi, I can recommend an aftermarket speaker upgrade to like gladen one 201 with mosconi 130.4 dsp amp its a orginial fit plug'n'play system and easy to hide & install.

this year I'm going to buy 2017 118i (F20), but the priced very close to F30 (2015) made me hard to chosed one. I have a little concern about rear back seat its quite too small. but i like hatch back car than sedan. If i got one your chanel will help me a lot. You done its complete. good video good instruction. In thailand charge for codding and upgrade Idrive display so expensive its about 1000 USD. and 750 for coding only. You made the great dude. Thank you for sharing.

JonesyRS I have one also with the stock silver alloys. You might be better of painting it yourself like I did. Much cheaper than buying new alloys.Primer first then some spray paint👍🏼

Great video and very smart car mate, congrats! Quick question to you or anybody else owning a 1 series, I've heard that the manual models have the pedals slightly offset to the right and that apparently it can get annoying or uncomfortable - how have you found it when driving it? Has it been annoying at all or are the rumours exaggerated? Thanks! :)

Hey mate! Cheers for the comment! I only realized the pedals were off to the right the first couple drives but after about a day I was completely used to it! Weird at first coming from a corsa with pedals wide apart

Hi Brett, I have had my 118i since February last year, about the time you had yours, to be honest, missed some of your videos and sorry to hear all the problems you had, did you put some stage 1 or any else boosts to your car?> Just trying to understand why the engine got into this condition? Brett Barnes i have the jb4 plug in box which I can load a stage one and two remap onto. Can run ethanol mix too but that’s too expensive lol not sure that would suit the smaller engine though?

ive got an 118i 5 door 67plate, had a rolling race against a 180bhp 1.6T astra gtc from 50 and this car kept up level till 90mph. Not bad performance surprised me
