Bro I've been getting into vintage calculators and I thought nobody else was into it or like it was so incredibly niche.

I have made a few videos on vintage calculators, they are very interesting indeed! Do you collect them? Any specific brand or period?

RPN is used on the first calculators because it was easier to program. The first calculator (by HP of course) had a 1 bit processor and it was just to complicated to program in the rules of arithmetic. Furthermore, the target audience (engineers) liked it better to have predictable behaviour and the possibility to reuse old outcomes, which is easier with RPN.

Very impessive collection. A tad bit OCD but very nice 😀 That landscape format, black sharp with the counter (with a three digit vfd) was my first calculator and it still works today, 50 years later.

The problem with these LED and VFD (vacuum fluorescence diisplay) calculators is that they are power hungry. A set of 4 AA batteries won't last long.

Can you post a scanned image of the programming paper sheets (front and back) so that I can create them in Excel? Many thanks!

Have you got any reflective LCD display calculators in your collection? At the time they were very expensive due to the high cost of manufacturing
@ErixCollectables

No. I had one. That’s with the mirror opening in an angle above the screen right? I totally forgot to talk about those.

That's it at the time LCD screens were a crazy price but they came down in price a year or two, to become the new normal.

Hi Lancer, thank you for watching my videos. I'm located in the Netherlands, would probably be too high shipping cost if you live elsewhere. Which calculator(s) do you need? Do you collect them?
