In today's video we take a eighth look at my vintage Matchbox models. I've really only recently started collecting these as I feel they represent much better value than some other toy lines that are 50+ years old and also because they are pulling on some quite strong nostalgia strings.
This video see's me unbox, clean and assess a large selection of vintage Matchbox models I purchased at recent toy fairs plus an overview of how the collection is looking today. These are just wonderful and really compliment a vintage Matchbox collection.

Great collection . I remember some of my first diecast . The bouncy wheels , colours , and some fantastic looking vehicles . Good memories . And the play . And played we did . Those toy were tough . Alas , all gone, lost, traded and played😂 . Thanks for the show .

I use a very soft make up brush my Daughter gave up to use for dusting...very gentle .

Great video. Love old catalogs and dealer price lists. Can´t wait to get over to England and some toy fairs. Kinda holding of on gettin Matchbox Suoerfasts until then eventhough I realy want to get some to run on my Steer-n-Go.

I´m in Sweden and Ryan Air flies to London from the airport 5 minutes from me. I acually have two Steer-n-Go. They are absolutely awesome@@JulesBurt

I wouldn’t use a toothbrush on the paintwork. The bristles will fatigue the paint, making chipping more likely. You’re best using a damp cotton bud with water to remove dust and dirt.

The toothbrush is years old and incredibly tough, it's only used to get the first out of little corners, after that I use the cloth or a bud if needed👍
