Exactly my thought. i had 4 out of 5 books, but i did not noticed the puzzle hint inside the room behind the ruin guard. I would never finish stuff like this without youtube helpers.

For those who already finished the puzzle on 4th book, try another pattern: 2,1,5,4,3. The small chest containing the 4th book will appear :)

I try SO Hard to do this stuff myself, and I enjoy the puzzles, but once in a while I reach an oversight that stumps me. And for that reason I am SOOO happy you're always there to guide me. Thank you so much! Huge help

Sadly i did the gate puzzle before seeing this video and opened the chest, when i was exploring (without doing the first step and you can do the puzzle without doing the first half). now i can't get the 4th book, since i already opened the chest or the book bugged out, don't know. Edit: Got it finally done in Co-Op, when my friend did the quest. somehow it was bugged for me.

@@ding8023 It was bugged for me, i got the bigger chest first and then did this quest. But the smaller chest with the book would not show up in my world. even with re-logging it did not show up. and i watched the video a few times to get it right. my friend checked as well, they could get the chest in their world no problem. In the end i got the chest, after my game crashed when i left the teapot and had to re-install the game, because i had the bug with "please download the new game file" and even with repairing the game i had to re-install it in the end, because it would not let me in. Then i could finally get the chest.

I opened the "secret room" and took the chest but never noticed the things on the wall...and so I was stuck and lost in what to do, haha. This helped a lot, thank you. Also, I didn't notice the luxurious chest at the end whew....

it’s called the kfc glider, it was only obtainable from december 2nd - December 6th 2021 and you could only get it if you gave a Twitch Prime to the participating streamers, so it was around 10-15 dollars I think depending on ur currency

weird, i opened that chest at 5:16, but i did not get the book? I repeated the riddle, but no ches spawns^^ iam at 4/5 books now and dunno what to do, i even opened that chest on stream and people watched me do it and no one has a clue

Have you tried to do in other pattern? I experienced the same and try to step on 2,1,5,4,3. You will get the smaller chest containing the 4th books

So I bought the book before the quest and I don't even know that it is required during quest. I have book early but stuck at the 4/5 books cuz it doesn't register as the 5th one. So what do I do ?

I think if you try all of the possible patterns (that you find on the walls from solving puzzles) you should get an additional chest which fixes the bug and lets you talk to ema

For me, don't rush things. I've completed this just out of boredom and accident. Never realized it was all for a quest. When you finish all the world quest and hidden quest, the game will be boring. Just go on you're own pace. I'm savouring every moment of the journey.

Do you have to find the books before the quest giver appears? I've got one book and there's no ghost in the library. Or maybe it only triggers after other specific quests are completed?

The blue doors at 4:30 didn't pull me back to the middle, they just let me pass through. So I went into all the doors once and that let me go into the doors, when I got the order incorrect I had to walk into all 5 doors every time and that restarted the puzzle.

It opens up an exit that leads back outside on the upper level. It's not necessary.

So I did the thing where you explode the wall and use the doors in a specific order on the first day and it didn't give me the book, thing is I wouldn't know about these books until now, as I type this with Zhongli infront of me and his re-re-run banner is comming up 3 days and 4 hours from when I type this. I have no idea what to do i don't know if mihoyo will answer my prayers and ether give me the book or primogems because well there busy doing other things. What is the world do I do

It goes back to the normal realm. Once you leave the alternate realm, you have to lead it to the lower level of the library where the Seelie Court is located.

When you get them back from the shelves, they don't go to your inventory. They go to your archives, which you can find when you got to the Paimon menu and press the archives button and then you go to the books option.

Hope this is helpful who ever read go to the mirror after collecting all the books and in the mirror world search down there is a 'Luxurious Chest' inside it .
