Greetings Sir, Tomas Moravek is correct the number 2 blade is reversed in the grip, just remove tang nut and flip the blade you should be fine.

The lettering on the crossguard is for the SA District not the maker the maker is on the blade

The dagger that I got from my grandfather sadly doesn’t have the eagle or the leather strap anymore.

Just caught your video, lovely daggers but a few things wrong with your descriptions. Hammered navy scabbard is not a sign off an early dagger, depending on the size of your cheque book you had many options. Navy, could have ivory grips, hammered scabbard the list was really dependent on the money you had. SS moto Meine Ehre heisst Treue, translated is My honour is loyalty.

Very nice examples! Those should sell quickly, all textbook. A few quick comments: The Tiger SA dagger is considered a “transitional” piece as it has both the manufacturer’s logo as well as the RZM, which would in time be the only authorized stamping on the dagger blades… The NSKK has the “small oval” Eickhorn trademark. This indicates a ground off Rohm inscription, which is actually worth a small price mark up! If it had the inscription minus the Rohm signature, then it’s worth even more. Of course a completely intact inscription (against Hitler’s mandate) is worth a premium!! Some of the daggers were put back together incorrectly: the Mottoes are always on the obverse, as are the grip eagles. Gau/District stamps (is where they were distributed, not made) are on the reverse. The Marine did not have two types, the normal scabbard has lightning bolts. For a premium, a hammered scabbard could be purchased as an option. The grip was put back incorrectly as the grip-wire terminations should be on the reverse side. Now your Luftwaffe is indeed a second type as there was a longer, different model predecessor. The gilt swastika is very nice and usually the first thing to wear off. The SS is a Hammesfahr with the pyramid logo. It’s not a Boker, but still a very desirable maker! Beautiful collection, dagger No.2 Neuhaus ferdinand Rarity No.9. There is an inverted blade.The blade must be turned because the daggers is incorrectly folded. in Germany, an SA member could never wear an inverted blade.

Huge demand for German dress daggers now, SAs in particular. I suppose you've already sold all of those fine daggers?
