Wow I really talked about Yowapeda for half this video ... anyways I just wanted to say again thank you for 100 subscribers! I am really thankful that you all have tuned into my videos! Blue period is such a masterpiece i swear. the characters are so real. Yatora is one of the most relatable mc. He's super hardworking yet so flawed with full of insecurities. Theres just so much that goes on with the characters

i'm excited to get more into it! i've only read 2 volumes and then kodansha kept delaying the next one so i had to take a pause but i'm planning to binge the next few soon

@@tsukkinotes This why I buy in Mandarin xd. I already bought the first 5 volumes and the physicals are already up to date with the current vol. Can be a slow series but feels so heartfelt and real. I think you'll love it

Great deals you found! I've seen a few manga youtubers talk about the Yowamushi Pedal series. I really like Haikyuu!! so I think I might like this one as well! Great video :)

I think if you like Haikyuu you would definitely like Yowamushi Pedal, the cast of characters is also large and you can't help but get attached to them all haha. The main difference I would say from the beginning is that the protagonist Onoda doesn't know very much about cycling so you see his progression from the beginning while Hinata already has a passion for volleyball from the start... i swear this reply is going to turn into an essay but thank you for watching haha

I'm really lucky to have found a good deal but I am worried about finding the last few volumes I need :/ but I know how you feel, paying above retail especially for used manga really sucks but often times unavoidable if things are out of print, I hope you are able to find some volumes soon!! Nice haul!! You should give 7th garden a try...Its 8 volumes out atm but the series has been on hiatus unfortunately not sure if we will ever see the series continue but for what is out its a solid underrated series

Nice manga haul :) If you wanted to try a shojo manga, try to read Daytime Shooting Star. I'm sure you'll add the series to one of your favorites ☺️

great haul i just discovered your channel and it looks amazing i am a fan of yowamushi pedal i am planning on collecting the manga after i watched the anime and the english releases are up to volume 16, volume 17 comes out on April 6th, great video keep it up love it❤️️❤️️❤️️

ah i actually don't have any barnes&noble anywhere near me i must have been driving somewhere in this video but ya i've noticed it's really hit or miss with them,, you can always order online and pick up in store though!

random question😭 but how long would you say it takes you to finish one volume of manga (190-200 pg)?

depends on how wordy the manga is, usually about an hour but less if there’s not much dialogue but something like bakuman where the text bubbles are like an essay can take like 2 hours

wandering son, bloom into you, paradise kiss, no.6 (dystopian/sci-fi), and i hear the sunspot are some of my favorites :) (the most similar to those you mentioned is probably wandering son but the manga is super out of print)
