The VF article is blatantly a calculated hit piece on Adam - poorly calculated, but calculated nonetheless. It’s a very shallow summary of the allegations levied against Colleen, and despite there being multiple victims who have been publicly open about the situation - Adam is the only one who was named. They completely removed Kody Tyler from the narrative - making it seem like Adam was the one who instigated the new wave of backlash Colleen is facing. They push Colleen’s side of the story as fact on multiple times - including the claim that she only sent Adam the underwear because he asked (not that that is a valid excuse when she knew how old he was the whole time) - ignoring the fact that there is video evidence that Adam asked only after being offered the underwear multiple times.
Ethan went over this again recently - it appears that it was not Colleen who claimed Hi. H3H3 tested it by having Dan upload a track to cd baby and Ethan got copyright claimed from it 😂 That's what the cease and desist was regarding - her lawyers wanted Ethan to state that she didn't copy claim them. Honestly, I have such a gripe with how “cancel culture” has now caused people to see anyone being “cancelled” as just internet drama and not actually anything serious. I feel like so many people who have done genuinely criminal actions have had said actions downplayed just because the word “cancelled” is associated with it and people who want to go against the grain who “hate cancel culture” don’t want to agree that it is horrid.

the fundraiser thing is so sketchy and one of the biggest red flags that she’s a bad person. it’s not uncommon for influencers to show receipts when they donate to fundraisers, julien solomita for example does it all the time for various fundraisers that he does. the fundraisers she uses also DONT close, so once she makes her big initial donation (we can be seen in donations records that the children’s hospital of LA puts out every year), what happens with any other residual money that trickles in? why can’t she use fundraisers that donate directly to the cause instead of going through her bank account (probably bc she was a tax write off). It’s so so icky in so many ways.
