She also only apologized to her fans but hasn't reached out privately to the victims to apologize. She is the epitome of someone who weaponizes therapy as a means to slide by unscathed.

This can be applied to every family vlogger, but i get so uncomfortable seeing all the comments on her videos or social media saying they miss seeing the kids and asking when they would see them again. I saw comments saying “I miss seeing my babies” and “its been so hard not getting to see them”. Parasocial relationships have gotten so extreme, people feel way too entitled to content of peoples lives, especially their kids. If you care about them that much, you should be happy that they got a few months to grow up in private.

I was a very avid fan of Colleens for about 10 years. I fell for her "apology" in 2020 because I was unaware of the details of the situation and trusted Colleen and took her word for it. This time, I did my research, listened to all sides of the story and have decided to unsubscribe and forget her. Admittedly, it was hard in the beginning, but her true colors came to light over the past 6 months and there's no coming back from what she did. I'm not giving her my views or letting her take up my heads pace. I hope karma comes at just the right time for her

I was obsessed with Colleen's vlogs for about 2 years, through her whole pregnancy with the twins & the first year of their lives. I'm not proud of this. Like I really loved her...and rarely missed a vlog, as well as listened/watched every podcast she did with Erik. Having this happen was a bit devastating for me for multiple reasons, the first being how blindsided I felt. I will never, ever, ever support Colleen again, however I won't lie that I was very curious how she & her kids were doing through her absence. I just wished they were doing well, and truthfully I almost wanted a return JUST to confirm everyone was still alive & healthy. I got that closure, and for that I'm a bit thankful. I will not be watching anymore vlogs from her unless it's a reupload or a cut from another creator, but I will also not search for it willingly. For me, watching this video was...dark. Like I said, I was a big fan of her vlogs, and the energy shift activated my flight or fight. Trisha explained my feelings really well in her podcast about the underlying malice in her just being so forefront. Her eyes are just dead & dark, and it's painful to watch her now trying to act like life is good when you can tell she's screaming on the inside, and I also have a theory she made cuts to hide her crying. She is trying to mask & it's so clear. The type of vlogging is also shockingly different in that this vlog didn't show her kids, family, friends or husband in it which is very unlike any other vlog, and I think it was intentional. I kind of don't think she's going to last long, but maybe I'm just being too hopeful...because it really does speak volumes that she's shown zero accountability & clearly isn't that embarrassed by herself. She's angry her ukulele got so much hate, not embarrassed that it was an AWFUL take on "addressing rumors". She still meant every lyric of the Toxic Gossip Train. Honestly, while I'm glad she's doing ok, I'm simultaneously furious that she isn't at her rock bottom yet. It makes me sick to even see new uploads, much less watching the content of them... Side note: Colleen is giving Gabbie Hanna vibes & can't believe I didn't see the resemblance before. Delusional narcissists who get a lot of therapy but have shown no growth & continue to act crazy when everyone is screaming at them to stop. I don't like where this is headed. I have a feeling I'm about to witness another one of my ex-idols go from normalish influencer to mental hospital behavior...IFKYK

I also want to say that you are right about the fan base probably not knowing about what happened. I’m 41 and I just found out this year who she is, who Trisha is, who you all are. I had people I watched on RU-vid but I didn’t go on often, I don’t watch the news much because it upsets me, and I don’t follow gossip usually. Some of us are just not as internet savvy.🤷‍♀️

I love this podcast, I really needed y’alls company that day. They seriously do so much in terms of production that it does actually ‘frustrate’ me they don’t get more credit for it. I’m talking in terms of the wild amount of unwarranted hate from former fans/react RU-vidrs, and the sub count forever hovering right under 3M, w/ the last big fluctuation being due to the obv 🇮🇱 situation. Blah blah, my real point again is how much is put into every show by every member of the crew, everyone contributes so much and nobody has to pick up the slack, ever. What podcast has an outstanding team member dedicated to sound bites? Zach has an entire curated catalog of music, sounds, inside jokes, and on top of that is like savant level amazing at it (and it’s not just his job, he lives audio production and is an incredible live musician). In terms of the visual side, by another long term show member Ian, shows his mastery in switching with the fluidity showing in his transitions & keeping up with every crew member live. Can’t mention him without Sam, who has shown she is wildly talented, in the culinary arts & design, and totally deserves her promotion in Teddy Fresh: she’s going to go very far in design. Now onto my boy Dan, who is of course ‘Queen’, which I still giggle at, we all know how much he does for everyone, especially Ethan (keeping him on track), and has been there since day one. Then for more, newer team members, like AB & Lena, the beautiful married couple who as we all know do so much research for Ethan live on the show for 40k+ viewers, and working as Ethan & Hila’s personal assistant. Then Olivia! Whom now creates these PowerPoints which is such a genius engaging way to present content like the Coleen situation, content that other channels present so boring despite it being the exact same subject matter. And I wouldn’t forget Cameron, the handsome deep voiced angel who grew up an hour from me in the Northeast US. His art is so, so good and I’m wasn’t surprised at all he was a former Adult Swim employee. The quick wit and fast art/meme creation on the fly is again so fcking cool to me, as again I can’t name one podcast that has all these elements listed, let alone HALF, and not only that, they have it covered & down to a science. On top of everything I just outlined, they do this 4 times a week! 🚨 While most podcasts with their sized following aren’t pumping out nearly close to what they are. I’m from Maine, and have been suffering from chronic illness that’s had me bedridden off & on for the last 7 years, so it’s very unlikely I’d make it to a live show or LA meet n’ greet. But! I can keep thinking positive, and maybe someday a doctor will clear me for travel (that’s if I could every afford it, my treatment takes every dime I get). Can’t lie it’s like a real goal of mine. Nobody will read this, but hey I felt compelled. Love y’all! Family, Family, Family ☮️&❤
