Being serenaded is one of those things that can be romantic or awkward depending on where things are in a relationship. Imagine being awkwardly serenaded while being recorded knowing it's going on the internet. I would want to crawl out of my skin.

I find it interesting she won’t even look at him when she’s singing a song about how much she “loves him”. She’s a complete narcissist, maybe a psychopath. Her intentionally hurting her animal as a child and letting him die tells me enough.

They were miserable together. I just can’t imagine how they were off camera if THIS is the best they could do on camera… Making this vlog just to make people believe they are still together and their relationship is better than ever

The shadiness of Colleen's divorce from Josh and her relationship with Erik that followed was when I began to look at her different. Joshua and Colleen dated for 7 years - they met when she was in New York and then he moved to California to be with her so she could be closer to her family. They vlogged a lot of their relationship and their wedding was huge. They bought a house together and while Josh was vocal about settling down and starting a family, Colleen was eager to keep working. A year after their marriage, she moves to Canada to begin filming Haters Back Off and Josh stays behind in California. He visited a handful of times and each was as Olivia describes Colleen's anniversary trip home - awkward, distant, tense - there was clearly a lot happening behind the scenes. At this point in Colleen's vlogs, Erik is becoming a more prominent figure and fans are noticing. When Josh adopted the dog, everyone called out how Colleen never bonded with Shadow and was more distracted by her time in Canada. They eventually announce their divorce and 100% fans had speculated before and during if Erik had anything to do with it. Although Colleen has never admitted to anything, Josh was adamant in his divorce video that he did not ask for it and his life spiraled into alcoholism, depression, and many other personal concerns as a result of the divorce. While Colleen may not have physically cheated, she more than likely emotionally cheated and gaslighted Josh when he expressed how uncomfortable her relationship with Erik was, only to end up with him. She also compromised to put her career on hold to begin a family with Erik in the home she originally bought with Josh. Josh is not perfect, but to spend nearly a decade with someone you're head over heels for, someone you think wants you the same way and wants that life with you, only for them to throw it all away after a year is insane. If she noticed red flags or had issues, she should have brought them to light sooner or never married him in the first place. Her failed marriage is on her for not communicating responsibly.

I think he was upset because the one time he gets to spend time with his wife for their anniversary and she spends the entire time vlogging and writing a song to post on her RU-vid instead of being present with him when he needed her.

Colleen is an adult who thinks poop and farts are the peak of comedy

She was a jerk to Josh. I remember he made a comment in his vlog when he was visiting Collen on tour and he was so happy because she asked him to come stay because she missed him. He said she never does that. Really sad.

Once upon a time Colleen and her Ex were on and MTV reality show where they were shown fighting the whole time. Colleen was suuuuuuper upset about how she was portrayed on it. At one point it was available to watch on RU-vid but has since been removed. I feel like EVERYONE forgot this exists. No one has mentioned it, but alllll of their relationship was toxic, not just Joshua’s Blue Eyes…

It’s actually wild because I watched this relationship air out when it was happening. I was a teenager and knew this relationship was toxic af back then 😂💀

Their relationship was super strained by this point because she was filming away from him for her show and she was gone for so long. They were barely together during the yearish they were married. He didn't make it a secret that it was VERY hard on him, and she didnt make it a secret that she resented that he had emotional needs that she felt "limited" her. Super invalidate-y for a super normal feeling from your husband. She wanted him to seem controlling bc she was already moving on with her future next husband that she met on set and she needed him to feel like he was the problem for noticing the change, aka gaslighting. She was absolutely already starting her thing with her next husband during that time, whether emotionally or full on physically. She knew where she was going right after Josh. She's an absolute dick for that and she always was.

I swear one time in a vlog Colon said that she and Josh got married because they were having trouble in their relationship and they thought maybe getting married would make things better. Am I imagining this?? I just remember thinking that was the most insane ass-backwards logic.

I watched Joshua’s vlogs when he and Colleen were engaged/married and I thought Colleen was so rude to him all the time.

Just so everyone is aware Josh also participated in the same grooming techniques as Colleen. He talked with young fans and manipulated them into doing free work for him. He is just as bad. So let's not paint him as a victim.We can have sympathy for him having to endure a relationship with Colleen but he also had no problem with using young kids for nefarious reasons.

No shade to Josh at all but Erik Stocklin has had a steady acting career for a long time. I was actually shocked he filmed Haters Back Off. He has been in loads of stuff, most notable, The Vampire Diaries, Lucifer, Criminal Minds, Mistresses. Bones, The Bad Guys , High Voltage, & most recently Good Trouble. He is a very good guy and I cannot imagine what he is going through during this time. I feel so bad for him. There is no doubt in my mind that all this is shocking to him.

Not a defense but that chord progression is like... insanely common. It's one of the first ones you learn when you're learning ukulele. I doubt she even remembered she wrote that song with that chord progression because she has probably written a million songs with that chord progression.

When they got divorced I knew it was because of Colleen..i had a feeling there was another guy. I felt sorry for Josh. I watched Joshs videos after the divorce and it was even more clear that it was because of her that he became completly depressed. But, i also knew that one day it will crash and burn for her. People like colleen, who do not care who they hurt, will always have karma come back for them..I guess the time has come for her.

If you search for more of Colleen's ukulele songs you'll see she has a few other videos where she is reading mean comments while singing, I guess that's her coping mechanism against criticism or certain situations.

I remember watching them on true life and thinking their relationship was weird because they didn't really seem to like each other that much, then a few years later they were getting married lol and we all know how that worked out. Does anyone remember that episode of Victorious where Tori does an elaborate musical number for her sister as a present? And then Tori spends the rest of the episode not understanding why her sister doesn't think it was a present. This kind of reminds me of that, it's more of an excuse to do a performance where the attention is on her and not really a preset.

It was obvious by the time of their wedding and honeymoon- that Colleen and Joshua had serious problems - she looked really miserable. It was obvious he really resented her fans and her flying off to do her own show etc. I was never a Miranda/Colleen fan - but when they divorced- I was not surprised at all.

I don’t think using the same chord progression is a big deal… when I first watched her video I assumed she was using chords she was fairly comfortable with to make it easier to focus on her words. There are more important elements of this to focus on to this then chord progression.

When I first saw this, I felt so badly for Josh.

I think it's worth noting while Joshua is shirking all allegations of inappropriate interactions with fans etc.. he basically stalked colleen until she met up with him. He "found" her when she was relatively unknown and he messaged her to meet up with him and then they started dating. A lot of her older fans always thought he was just a fame hungry moron and she was his "ticket to stardom" which is why he never wanted that divorce.

Like 8+ years ago I remember my ex gf loved Colleen and the only fact I remember about her is that she apparently hates showering and would only do so the bare minimum which I thought was pretty gross when you're in a sexual relationship. Edit, here's a summary of her shower-routine video: Think about how a 4-year-old would get clean in a shower alone. That’s basically it. No body wash or soap. Just shampoo from her head being rinsed down her body is how she cleans herself. Then she will grab shampoo out of her hair and rub her hands on her pits and crotch to clean them. Then instead of being able to throw away her hair clumps in the trash, she puts them on the shower wall. She says for art. I say for Erik to clean up for her. She drops Erik’s tooth brush and then just puts it back. Then she uses the least rusty razor to shave her body. No soap or shaving cream. And then pees in the shower. And she says she only showers every couple days. She says the days she doesn’t shower, half way through the day she smells herself and is disgusted. Im not sure why she thinks being disgusting when you’re a mother is quirky and cute. I mean if you’re trying to not look like an adult and appear relatable to 12 year olds …… oh … Wait…

I’m sure Josh wasn’t perfect either but when he posted that video of the divorce initially, it was clear he didn’t want it and wanted to work it out. And that is a very admirable trait in today’s world. I knew it was probably Colleen’s idea and what she wanted. It rubbed me the wrong way and I stopped following her on everything.
