Hi Celine! congrats to you !! so every studet gets a bus pass that is included in tuition, I took advantage of this and used the bus system to get around when I didn't feel like walking. Most days I did walk though because I enjoy it. I do not recommend you bring your car, parking is insane and to be honest, Berkely is dangerous. hope this helps!

hi! this is single bedroom but you share a common living area (includes kitchen, tables, couches, and laundry) two share one bathroom, so a total of two bathrooms.
If it's ok to ask, how much do you pay the rend per month ? I am an International student at Foothill College, and want to transfer hopefully to UC Berkeley. But it all depends on the prices.
My son will be freshman at bekerley coming fall ,it’s better for him to stay at dorm or housings?I don’t mind to pay little bit more ,I just want a quiet place and relax,so he can study.
@@sandytrang6073 I am also going in as a Freshman and would highly recommend on-campus housing. It's much more difficult to make friends off-campus. He would also be missing out on a lot of the Freshman experience. If you want him to be in a quiet dorm environment, I would suggest Blackwell hall or Foothhill.

Is the amount given by financial aid enough to cover the monthly rent? I heard that some people need to take out loans. If my question is too much, you can ignore it xD
I wish I could live there. I got a housing offer at Mills College. It's been rough being a UC Berkeley student, but living on another college campus 9 miles away. T_T
