College Behind Bars Screening and Panel Discussion [Recorded June 11, 2020] 

Thank you for that, I am currently researching Prison Education in the UK and am using BPI as a case study of a successful programme. The transformative experience is just so inspriring.

One of the mistakes people make is assuming that these students intend to maintain the status quo of the White racial frame. That is not so. Personally, I am one of those students and I intend to contribute to the fight against racial injustices and inequalities. I am amazed at such a wonderful documentary. Agree with Fatboy...mom is super emotionally immature. Smh. Nothing she spouts now is going to remedy the situation at hand. She should consider providing a safe, collaborative space for her and her family to communicate so they can learn from the past and grow stronger moving fwd.

This mother is going to be her daughters downfall. Such a horrible minded women. She has a lot of growing to do. Her daughter has matured in more ways than she will ever convey. I wanted to reach through the TV and shake her. She is trying to better herself and mom should be positive and supportive. Sorry she is toxic. That girl will never be able to move on with mom rubbing it in her face every 2 seconds!
