College Day in the Life of Chemical Engineering Student 2018 

This is the student life I've wanted, im in my final year of chemical engineering, I made wrong friends , hung out with wrong company that messed up grades really bad. Whoever you're going to do engineering or any degree, please surround yourself with postiive and hardworking people. Don't make wrong friends pls.

A wee hint for anyone doing organic chemistry. Use colour for the different compounds within the synthesised molecule, it makes it easier to see what bit comes from which molecule.

I graduated chem eng 17 yrs ago...1st year wasn't too bad (mostly chem/physics/mathematics), the fun really started in 3rd year, and then final year was a lot of work. Especially with the final year design project work (in addition to everything else). It's all worth it in the end though.

Wow, your campus is 15 minutes away only. Mine was 1 hour by bus through Indian traffic . I used to get out of my home at 8 am and back at home at 7 pm . Enjoy the next 4 years as I did in Chemical Engineering.

That s depressing, i like chemistry too but i do something else aswell, it s college life after all, you need to have some fun. I am happy college in my country gives you a lot of free time during the semester and only the exam session in which you work like this daily to pass them. We go in clubs everyday and go the next day hungover to college or can just take free time and learn from teacher s powerpoints. Only laboratories and seminars that require 100% presence but even those can be skipped in a small measure. This is college life, not what s shown in the video, i coudn t live like that for anything

4th year ChemE here. Wakes up at 7 am and goes to bed at 3 am. No after lecture reviews. Tons of work procrastinating to get other work done. How you going now BTW ?

I am 14 and my dad is a very successful chemical engineer so i want to follow his foot steps exept i wont take a phd instead i will stop at masters to start working and get some money to start a side business. Maybe a firm or something else. Also i want to ear the big bucks from the start so i can start investing in real estate so i have a source of income that is extra. I have a long way because i am literally so awkward with people so i have to fix that and also i have to work on my leadership skills as well as my mathematics. I read books everyday to learn new things which will help me grow and improve so i can be more successful then my successful dad. I hope you will make your dreams. I dont wish you luck because luck comes from hard work but i will tell you that you and i will make it if we put in the work and hourse to hustle and work while ithers are sleeping. If you are bad at something you have to do it more and more until you are a master at it. Remember your biggest fear like mine should be living a comfortable life. I narrowed down my choices to EEE, mechanical and chemical engineering based on my highschool grades and my field of interest.
